Ross Park Hotel

Was going to book the spa for a treatment. Went in personally to book but the place looks like something out of the 1980s. Dated and poor service. I would advise to avoid if you can.

The service was always friendly and competent, at the reception as well as in the restaurant, the bar and the breakfast team. The lobby, bar and restaurant are very nice. The food is yummy and served till late. The rooms are clean. The bath seems to be lately renovated, looks very nice. Shampoo is provided. Unfortunately the shower lake water pressure and it takes quite some time to get warm.

The bed is very short, I guess 1,80m. There are plenty of pillars provided. Also an iron and ironing board is in the room, a TV and a big shelf. Many of the rooms can reached with an elevator, but not all of them. To the location of the hotel: On foot the location is very remote, so very quiet and surrounded by nice landscape.

We had a beautiful lunch late this afternoon and from we arrived the Service was very good. Very attentive staff and very friendly too despite being extremely busy with other customers and a Wedding. Our food was delicious and we couldn't recommend Rosspark Hotel highly enough. Definitely worth a visit. 5*****

My daughter had her wedding here yesterday and every detail was perfect. Angus and his team done an incredible job from start to finish. Would highly recommend the Ross Park for future brides and grooms.

Staff were friendly and the two staff who sat us for dinner were very welcoming and made for a great atmosphere. Rooms are of a good standard very clean.

The room was tiny. The hallways dont fit buggys. The lounge and bar and restaurant areas smelled very bad. A club sandwich costs 10 pounds. The staff were very friendly.

My wife and I love this hotel. Always made very welcome and made comfortable. Excellent food and service. Keith and staff are brilliant

My daughter and her new husband recently held their wedding here and everything was top class. Angus needs a big mention. He looked after us so well and made everything extra special. Food was amazing and all the staff were excellent. I honestly can't praise this hotel up enough.

I've been going here for years and it never disappoints. A great selection of dishes on the menu and something to suit everyone.it's the sort of place every generation of the family can get something that pleases them! Friendly owners and helpful staff and best of all, an extensive lounge area to sit in after your meal.

We had our wedding reception at Rosspark in November 2021. Everything was wonderful and all the staff were very helpful! Thank you for everything, we had the best day!

Just spent the last two days at the Ross Park Hotel! It's a quiet time of year but the hotel is clean, the staff went out of their way to help and the food was amazing! We plumped for the 2 night winter break. which included bed and breakfast and evening meal on our 2nd night and it was sensational! We also had some of the treatments that were available in the Therapy Room and the whole experience was so good that we have booked again for a couple of months time. If you fancy a quiet getaway, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed

We had afternoon tea today and it was beautiful! The service was amazing too everyone was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Visited for a meal after a family christening, Richard and Angela were fabulous at reception. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were lovely and very attentive. Couldn't fault the experience at all. If u haven't been to the Ross park Hotel, u r missing out

Because the hotel and all the staff made my daughters wedding day so enjoyable and memorable. Staff couldn't do enough for any of us. Absolutely remarkable experience for all of us. If you need special wedding venue you'd be silly to pass on this 11th December 2021

Just had an amazing Xmas turkey dinner at the Ross park hotel from starter to main course that's absolutely perfect and the most sublime cheese cake I've tasted in a long time. it is my most favourite ever dessert and am very fussy when it comes to it. staff all friendly courteous and helpful, the owners should be very proud of every single one of them as they made my experience very memorable.

Afternoon tea and treatment package here, Rang hotel to book and was told this was nothing to do with them and I would have to book tea via treatment rooms? When I commented that I had tried that number several times and couldn't get a response was told, "Well they are too busy doing treatments to answer the phone". When I asked could he book us in for afternoon tea then, he laughed hysterically at me so I put the phone down.

On the day of the 'treat' we arrived at reception and asked where we had to go, the receptionist waved his arm in the direction of the bar, . We then had to ask directions from someone setting up for a wedding and were directed to another floor. When we came back down for tea, 15 minutes after our allotted time, we were told to, 'stand over in that corner as your table isn't ready yet'.

The afternoon tea was good but very few sandwiches and overloaded with sweet stuff. and they say hospitality is suffering, so are the poor customers! This cost more than100, my advice, avoid and spend the money on a good steak dinner!

We stayed in the Rosspark Hotel last night. We checked in without any problems and when we returned later in the evening the person in the bar was so helpful even tho it was about to close. Richard a person that I have talked to so many times re room changes etc. and he was most helpful. Breakast this morning was lovely. Beds very comfortable and rooms well equipped. Thank you all again.

We had Sunday lunch at the Rosspark to celebrate my daughters baptism. The menu has great variety and portions were generous. Everyone in our party enjoyed their lunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend.

Really good time here spent my anniversary here with my bf afternoon tea is just on another level never seen so much great friendly staff amazing rooms great food would definitely go back

Attended my neices wedding on Saturday 4th September. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. From the moment we arrived until we left the whole experience was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel. All staff were fantastic. Can't wait to return. Richard keep doing what you are doing. Joan and Keith was lovely to meet you both.

Beautiful wedding venue with a gorgeous pavilion for your wedding ceremony and lovely gardened areas for photos with fairy lights making it feel magical. I was the photographer at this venue for a wedding and the staff were incredibly helpful, the food was amazing, and the grounds were lovely with lots of photo opportunities. Highly recommend!

We were at a wedding in Rosspark Hotel. Had a great day the staff were all polite and friendly nothing was a bother. The wedding meal was delicious the breakfast was good could maybe been a bit warmer. The wedding hall was well decorated the registrata was excellent made everybody welcome and carried out the wedding brilliantly. Only one wee issue think the bedrooms could do with an upgrade. Overall had a brilliant time.
