Bit disappointing, use to be a quality hotel. Now doesn't offer food. No iron or hairdryer in room. Room can be described as like student accommodation (375) clean tho. staff ok, not much happening within the place, was closest hotel to botanic for us and served its purpose for a night's sleep, certainly not worth the price we paid.

Unfortunately, the room and bathroom was very filthy. Didn't service the room eventhough we had stayed for more than 2 nights. So we had to request new towels (as there are no sufficient place to hang the towels to dry) coffee, cups etc. Which should be OK, however this was not communicated beforehand, plus hotel prices have soared in recent months compared to pre-pandemic. Again, this would be OK, however with an increase in prices should not come with a reduction of services.
Dirty spoon (coffee from previous guests). Previous guest's toothpaste still in cup. The shower was Luke warm at best - so we had cold showers or Luke warm baths. We informed staff after our first night and not much was done about this - only the bathroom was cleaned a bit. Overall a very disappointing experience. I would NOT RECOMMEND

The hotel is in a great location, and despite the The Bot being downstairs, our room on the second floor, round the side, was very quiet. The bed was also very comfortable and the residents' bar was a pleasant space. Breakfast was fine (coffee not great!). However, the whole place could use a bit of face-lift - It is quite run-down and tired looking, with loose carpet in places, bits of wood missing from the banisters(which you could hurt yourself on as it meant some sharp edges on the rails), and stains on the carpet.
For the price we paid, therefore, I can't really give it more than 3 stars. Having said that, I would stay again due to the location and free parking. Plus the "Barking Dog" restaurant a couple of doors down (recommended by the Hotel)which is a reason to visit Belfast alone!

Rooms are old and need decorating, uncomfortable beds. Bins and other things stacked up outside the window. No kettle in the room although there was tea and coffee. None of the bar staff on one evening knew how to change a beer keg. Room not serviced on second day. Definitely not worth the E217.00 for room only

Absolutely loved the place, the room was cozy and exactly what we needed. The staff were extremely helpful, they helped me with directions and just general suggestions for bars and restaurants around the area. Also printed out some tickets for us which was nice. The bar in the hotel is good for those last drinks before bed, and just if you want to stay in for the evening. The option to extend your checkout time till 12:30 was also an option we opted in to. Would highly recommend to any young couples who need an affordable weekend in Belfast!
