The Glenorleigh is a detached Victorian Villa built in 1865 and has been extensively refurbished and modernised over the last few years to offer exceptional facilities whilst retaining the style and elegance of the original building.

Stroll along the palm lined promenade watching the rows of graceful Victorian terraces and white villas pass you by or just lay by the almost tropical beaches as the sea gently rolls in.

Small and cozy hotel with beautiful garden area and heated swimming pool. It was only +19 outside but we still enjoyed swimming. Carpe Diem when you have a staycation; Reasonable price for what it is, not too far from the centre. Traditional breakfast, coffee, tea and biscuits provided in the room. Some girls were very friendly and helpful. Thanks! We enjoyed our stay!

Had a lovely stay in this warm and friendly suburban B&B. Kelly and her team worked hard to make sure I had a great time and couldn't do enough to help. Place was very clean and has been tastefully refurbished and redecorated. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful with lots of choice. After the guests have eaten Kelly cooks breakfast for her staff - a nice touch which shows her true character. 10 minute walk from Torre train station (don't worry, you won't hear/see/smell the trains).

Kelly very friendly & welcoming, room was great albeit bed only a double but for two nights it sufficed. Plenty of Tea/coffee & top quality Hot Chocolate. Get impression nothing too much trouble for Kelly. Decor is very stylish & most of hotel very modern. Lovely outdoor pool & garden (too cold to use) bar & other facilities. 15 minute walk down to the seafront, good cpl restaurants & bars there too. Epuld sray again if ever go back to Torquay. Good Value oh and stunning breakfast with quality ingredients.

Just returned from a lovely week at the Glenorleigh. Kelly and her girls are an amazing team. Lovely, spotless place to stay. The lounge, bar area, decking and pool you could not fault. Lovely breakfast and nothing too much trouble. The saying arrived as strangers left as friends resonated here. We love Torquay and usually visit in October but our summer holiday here was a breath of fresh air considering we couldn't travel abroad this year. First time at this guest house and not our last.
