I stayed for 4 nights whilst doing a course in the area. Clare and Stuart are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was spotlessly clean and very cosy with everything I needed. There was a choice of breakfast options from cereals to full English. And delicious. Amazing value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A brilliant establishment. You are given a really warm welcome when you arrive. The rooms are spacious, free wifi, and very very comfortable beds. The hosts are a Fountain of knowledge for sure. I stupidly booked the wrong dates in January 2022. They ensured that my stupidity did not leave me out of pocket and were absolutely brilliant at rectifying my error.

The location is ideal to enjoy a walk into Torquay town which walking down Belgrave Road via the sea front will take about 25 mins. DTs is a great pub to visit which is only 5 mins walk. I highly recommend Ashwood Grange for a great place to stay.

Clare the host is fabulous, nothing too much trouble. The room was absolutely spotless as was the whole hotel. We stayed for honeymoon and Clare came to our room on first day with a bottle of wine and chocolates for us. Breakfast was fabulous lots of choice and cooked to perfection! Clare came to make sure we had everything we needed at breakfast. Only a short walk into Torquay to see the sights. We will definitely be back to this hotel we were made to feel at home.

Lovely, clean accommodation. I came with my four year old grandson, there were games and books for him to play with. The hosts were very pleasant. Delightful holiday.

Noisy road emergency vehicles all night impossibly steep parking. Nice people and handy location. Have to ask for individual items ie toast and butter and jam.

We have just stayed here the past 7 nights, checked out this morning. What can I say other than the owners (Stuart and Clare) are absolutely brilliant hosts. I know things are a little difficult with Covid at the moment, but things couldn't have gone better. Breakfast you order the day before from a vast list, there were a couple of things I liked that wasn't on the list (tomatoes I prefer tinned to fresh and I love black pudding) and they went out specially to get them for me and accommodated us very well.

We were regularly asked if we had everything we had ordered and if we wanted any extra. Nothing was any trouble for them. Our room was a double room, we had the bed in 1 room and a seating area in through a doorway, overall we had 3 tvs with a SKY box with the main tv. 2 wardrobes, 1 in each room, and I have to say, a little quirkiness, a bathroom sink in the seating area, but surprisingly this actually came in handy 1 day.

Location was great. Outside was a bus stop for the no.12 bus which ran between Newton Abbot and Brixham, we just parked the car up and got a weekly pass each. When we learned the bus route, got a bit familiar, the walk wasn't too long from the centre, maybe about 20-25 minutes mostly downhill. Clare was knowledgeable of the local area and gave advice on what to do and where to go.

It was her idea for us to get a weekly bus pass and explore the local towns. She also recommended some of the local attractions and activities. 100% I would stay here again if we visited Torbay.

Had a lovely stay and the hosts were very accommodating. We slept well in spotlessly clean rooms, enjoyed delicious breakfast and had all of our questions about local places answered. Although it isn't right in the centre of town, it's very easy to get around by foot or public transport. I would recommend staying here and would stay again in the future.

Exceptionally clean. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and B&B's and Ashwood Grange tops them all in the cleanliness department! The owners are very welcoming and incredibly accommodating even with my fussy gluten free, dairy free, onion free diet! They're knowledge of the area is great too, so they can help with places to go. Good comfortable room in an excellent location to visit the Bay. Car park is tight but that's usually the case in this area. I stayed here with my 9 year old and she loved it. Definitely recommend.
