Hotel Cimon

Amazing place to stay. 100% recommend! Breakfast, place, people everything was great and I absolutely loved it. Jamie and Julia are lovely and are very happy to help. The other staff members are also very lovely and we would happily stay again x

We had a fantastic stay! The whole bed and breakfast was spotlessly clean. We had a few lovely days of weather and the pool is a fantastic place to relax as it's a real sun trap with hardly any wind. Breakfast was delicious and portions were perfect.

Perfect! Our large, well-appointed room was spotlessly clean and had an excellent sea view. The owners Julia and Jamie and their team could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. Our breakfasts were perfectly prepared and presented, the parking was easy and the garden area, furniture, features and art were all interesting and sometimes quirky which enhanced the overall 'feel' at The Cimon. Top notch and excellent value!

The location was great. Julia and Jamie was very welcoming and told us places to visit. We couldn't fault it food was good beds very comfortable and very clean and tidy. I don't have enough good words to say about The Cimon and the outstanding service provided by Julia. The rooms are spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious with a range of options from full English breakfast to fruit bowls, croissants, yogurt etc. There is ample free parking at the rear of the property, which is a huge plus, given the proximity of the hotel to the heart of Torquay.

The city centre and marina are 5 to 7 minutes walk from the hotel, with its wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes. Julia's cordiality and warmth is a cherry on top - she gave us suggestions about local places to visit and restaurants to explore. We didn't get a chance to interact with Jamie, but I am sure he is as good and friendly. A holiday in the UK depends a lot on the weather, which is something beyond our control.

We were lucky to get a fabulous weather during our short stay. But choosing a good hotel is something which we can control to a good extent by relying on trusted reviews from genuine travellers like us. I sincerely hope this review will help and influence positively some future travellers. Thanks Julia. We hope to be back soon.

A great place to stay, the only reason i gave 4 stars is because its a little over priced in my opinion. The room was very clean and the hosts were very chatty and helpful. The breakfast is very nice and theres a good choice. Not to far to walk to the town sea front but it is all uphill on the way back. Overall a very pleasant stay and a comfortable room and bed.

An excellent weekend with friends. Our room was quite small but nicely furnished so felt roomy enough for a couple of days and we had wall to wall sunshine. Jamie and Julia were great hosts and service was very efficient and friendly. Well positioned for walking down to the sea which was a comfortable 10 minutes.

Had a fabulous few days away catching up with family and friends. The Cimon is exceptionally clean with super friendly hosts Julia&Jamie. The breakfast was cooked fresh when ordered.loved the fact it was hot and served to your seat as apposed to elbowing your way at a buffet!

What a lovely experience! We were made very welcome by Julia and Jamie; our room was large and luxuriant; it had comfortable armchairs looking out over the beautiful bay and surrounding hills. Our breakfast was absolutely divine. We will definitely be coming back to this gem.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Cimon, shame about the weather but the hotel its self was lovely and comfortable. The hosts Jamie and Julia were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Hope to be back in the summer.
