Our small business celebration was wonderfully hosted by Rose and her team at Daylesford Hotel. The Back Bar was an ideal intimate space for the gathering. The open fire added to the ambience. The drinks were all reasonably priced and were regularly restocked by the staff. The charcuterie was absolutely delicious and a very generous quantity. Communication was also very good throughout. Overall, a very satisfying and enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed a dinner here in the dining room (on the right as you enter) on a Friday night. Everything was really nice. The daily pie was really nice. Tried a local beer which I was happy with. Wait staff were friendly. Sounded like there was some live music happening in the public bar on the other side of the hotel.

Sunday night at the DH is always roast night! This week was slow roasted shoulder of pork with all the trimmings! Plenty of accompaniments such as roasted potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato & peas served with house made apple sauce & of course the obligatory gravy! Simply delicious. A fabulous wine list is on hand to help enjoy the meal. Great service always in a wonderful iconic pub. Well worth a visit!

I came here with family for a meal. The menu was great, general pub feed. I ordered the steak and while it was not the best, my family loved their meals and the shared entrees and sides were fantastic. The drinks were some of the best part, along with the great service we got. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and made a great cocktail. At times, it was a bit hard to get the servers' attention despite it being quiet, but honestly that didn't bother me much. Would recommend!

The hotel is just beautiful, with it's period internal rooms, and the quality of the food is very good. It was recommended to my wife and I to have dinner there as the quality of food is great. That recommendation was . We had the salt and pepper calamari with salad, as an entree, then my wife ordered the roast of the day, in roast lamb with roast vegetables, I had the chicken parma and it was a great serving, with chips and salad. I highly recommend this pub, as a great place to enjoy a very nice meal, with service and atmosphere. Bookings are essential to make sure you get a table.
