We are easy to find and on arrival, there is plenty of on-site free parking waiting for you. We are approximately 1 mile (20-minute walk) from our beautiful harbour and seafront. Bus stops that take you into town and further afield are a short distance from us and Torre Railway Station is just across the road (300 metres away). The award is the highest recognition and is presented annually to businesses that are the Best of the Best on Tripadvisor, those that earn excellent reviews from travellers and are ranked in the top 1% of properties worldwide!

We aim to provide you with luxury, modern, clean, well decorated, contemporary boutique-style accommodation. All of our rooms have full shower en-suite facilities (Shower, toilet and washbasin) as well as complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, hospitality tray. It has been completely refurbished to include its' own bedroom area with king-size bed, smart TV, bluetooth DAB radio/alarm and built-in wardrobes. You also have your own seating area with comfortable sofa and TV. There is also a brand new en-suite complete with double-width walk-in shower.
For breakfast, you will enjoy the best possible ingredients, locally sourced, where possible. Of course breakfast is included in our room rate because they say it's the most important meal of the day. At Stover Lodge we wholeheartedly agree that you can't beat a good old fashioned full English. We aim to please with a wholesome breakfast that is freshly cooked to order and will feature locally sourced quality ingredients wherever possible. If a lighter Continental or meat-free breakfast is more your thing then we can certainly accommodate.
If you are looking to experience the very best that South Devon can offer with its amazing countryside, pretty little villages and the beautiful twenty two mile Torbay coastline then we believe Stover Lodge is the perfect place to consider "Home" for the duration of your stay. You might like to explore Dartmoor, you could walk at least some of the South West coastal path which stretches for 630 miles!
We were so fortunate to stumble across this quaint B&B - the abundance of flowers on the exterior of the building and the lovely net white curtains attracted us immediately - the proprietors clearly take much pride in their establishment - extremely clean, friendly and the traditional English breakfast was a real treat.

Wow what a fabulous gem we have found. Our hosts Andy and Matt offer a warm welcome to this beautifully presented guest house. Everything was super clean and sparkly. We loved the location and walk through the park to the promenade. Breakfast is Superb and served in the stunning garden room. We will be back and We couldn't recommend Stover lodge enough.

My partner and I had a great one week stay in the Stover Lodge (the suite). The place is owned and run by lovely and friendly Matt and Andy. We felt welcomed and spoilt from the minute we walked in to the guest house. Everything was literally perfect: nicely decorated room with a high end finish, comfy bed and furniture and well equipped. The room, bathroom and the whole place were very clean.
The breakfast was incredibly tasty. Right outside the place there is a bus stop which will take you into town and then onto Paignton and Brixham. Also, opposite is the local train station. Nothing was too much trouble for Matt and Andy. They are the best hosts ever and we could not fault the stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at Stover Lodge, from being first greeted upon arrival we felt welcome and at home. The Lodge is absolutely spotless, our room was perfect, you couldn't have asked for more (The bed and pillows are VERY SOFT, unfortunately me and the wife are not accustomed to such comfort and didn't sleep well, it's us not the bed). TV in room had loads of channels for unwinding after long walks, bathroom had complimentary soap/Shower gel and had space in the shower to put your own, also the sink had shelves around the mirror for wash kit neccecities, I loved it.
Breakfast was possibly THE best I have ever had and that was backed up on day 2. We didn't move from the breakfast table until we had finished our hosts went above and beyond in every aspect of the B&B to ensure that everyone was as comfortable as possible. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be recommending you to friends and family! See you soon hopefully.

Although we unfortunately had to cut our holiday short, we could not fault this B&B. Alison and David were very welcoming and great hosts, the breakfasts were second to none, the room was very clean and the bed very comfy and with Davids sense of humour kicking in every morning, we had a fabulous stay. Everything was within easy reach with plenty of places to visit and things to do! We would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to re-visit very soon! Barbara & Steve
