A very pleasant stay with very friendly staff. Room was nice with a bathroom ensuite to the side. The room colour was red which made the room dark, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was yummy, however they had a shortage of salmon due to delivery problems. I was looking forward to Scottish salmon in Scotland.

Always stay here when visiting the area. This must be the sixth time we have stayed here? Family run hotel with excellent staff where nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are huge and comfortable. Our favourite is room 10 it has a bath and shower. If room 10 is not available then we go for room 1 which is still lovely but does not come with a bath. The breakfast is to die for ranging from a traditional Scottish breakfast or croissants if you prefer This is always our first choice when searching for accommodation in the Paisley area will definitely stay again.

This hotel is a wonderful place, picturesque and yet also placed incredibly close to the centre of Paisley - a minute's stroll to the glorious Coats Observatory, the same to the High street, and a few more to two different train stations (Paisley Gilmore Street, with fast trains that take 10 minutes to get to Glasgow Central station, and Paisley Canal Street, a smaller railway line, rich with history).
The hotel is family-run, and looked after with great care - the rooms are all beautiful and well kept. Due to COVID regulations at the time of my 12-day stay, room-cleaning was accomplished by periodically checking-out of one room, and into a new clean fresh room, so I got to stay in 3 different rooms over the course of my stay, all of them were magnificently charming, comfortable, and as it happened, well-equipped for me to continue working remotely on my laptop - they were a pleasant environment to work in! Rooms on the north side of the house overlook the hotel's large beautiful green garden, you can barely believe you're situated directly in a town centre.
The hotel is also very close to the beginning of a beautiful fully-pedestrian walk that goes to beautiful Castle Semple Loch and beyond, part of National Cycle Network 7. Maureen took such good care of me while I was staying there and made sure I had everything I needed. My visit was to deal with a family emergency - not necessarily the easiest of things - but Maureen made all the difference in a difficult time.
I do hope to be able to return there someday soon. My family emergency is happily now resolved (with a good outcome, thank goodness!) and it would be lovely to return to enjoy Paisley and it's surroundings properly this time!

Lovely old building with ample space at the front and a massive gorgeous garden out back which meant it was remarkably quiet for such a central location. The room in the converted loft was supremely comfortable, spacious with Velux windows providing ample light and fresh air as well as a view of the town. The welcoming and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Our stay was crowned by a quality breakfast in the elegant dining room.

Such a beatiful building both in its exterior and its interior. A little gem of exemplar architecture in Paisley. The couple that own the place are extremely kind and welcoming. The entrance hallway precedes a lobby with a tastefully decorated sitting area, with bar and cafe services (yet to open due to coronovirus restrictions), that evokes comfort and relaxation. Not to forget the lovely garden at the back! Definitely a place worth visiting!
