Grange Bank Hotel

As well as being a comfortable, very clean, dog friendly and conveniently located hotel, Grange Bank House is a lovely place where the hosts, with their kindness and sense of humour, will make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. In addition, the breakfast is served in a lovely room and is of a very high, or shall I say very delicious, standard. The bar in the communal lounge is a great place to socialise with other guests. My wife and I are really looking forward to visiting again as soon as we can.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, wonderful welcome, extremely helpful hosts, great breakfast, comfortable room. The hosts were very helpful in organising my ferry over and even making a late change for me. Just perfect!

Once again we have had the most wonderful time staying at Grange Bank House. It really is 5++ Star service, food and accommodation. Warren and Peter are absolutely fantastic hosts. It's a home from home and we always get a lovely welcome. A particularly special welcome this time too from their new little helper Maggie who is totally adorable. The guest house has a calm atmosphere and is just the relaxing break we needed.

Always spotlessly clean and tidy and your every need is catered to. The breakfast is always outstanding and sets you up nicely for the day. There are an abundance of places nearby to eat and drink the during the day and in the evenings. It's a great base for visiting all the attractions the island has to offer and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. We highly recommend staying at this guest house and will be returning again soon.

The owner are all very friendly. We all like very delicious Breakfast and very clean and very good service. We will definitely come back again.

Warmest welcome, this is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The smallest little touches, extremely clean, this is better than a home from home.

We stayed at Grange Bank House in 2019 and it was our first time on the island, their customer care and attention to detail made us fall in love with the island.we are now on our 3rd year in a row. The ferry crossing was so easy as Warren and Peter sorted out the ferry tickets for us as part of our booking. The building is very well kept inside and out.

Very nicely decorated inside and kept so clean, can not fault the cleanliness! When we arrive there is always a pot of tea waiting and a coffee for my wife. I have stayed in a few B&Bs and I have never felt so important and at home as I do when we are at grange bank house. Their breakfasts are amazing! We are already planning trip number 4 and will not be staying anywhere else on the island.

We arrived as guests and left as friends! Warren and Peter are a credit to the hospitality industry on the Isle of Wight I would recommend them to anyone! Year you next year Boys :More

I would definitely recommend this bed & Breakfast, it was second to none. Pete & Warren were very hospitable, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing. The whole accommodation was spotless clean. Having the little chocolates left outside the door was a lovely gesture. Will definitely go back.

My wife and I booked a short trip to the Isle of Wight at short notice in December and were firstly very happy to be able to get a good discount on the ferry crossing through Grange Bank House. Then when staying at the house we were really impressed by the hospitality of Pete and Warren who always made us feel totally at ease, whilst the breakfast they provided was easily as good as any five star establishment.

In fact our stay here was one of the major highlights of the trip and we'll hope to come again again next year with our upcoming four legged furry friend. Thanks guys! Two thumbs up!

We spent a few nights here to relax and this place was perfect. The owners are really sweet and helpful, the tea and biscuits readily available. We spent a good time curled on the sofa petting the lovely dog Whitney whilst watching TV and just chilling out. The rooms are clean, the shower has strong pressure and the breakfasts are outstanding, including the porridge.

The location is also excellent for Shanklin, the restaurants and the beach. Will definitely stay again and clearly the other guests were regulars! Thank you for our lovely stay!

This is an excellent bed and breakfast in Shanklin. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants, the seaside, and bus service. The proprietors were very kind and knowledgeable about the area-the lounge has lots of up to date information about menus, walking routes, tourist attractions, etc. Also, they went out of their way to help us make our train and ferry on our last day. Advantages: -vegetarian full English breakfast -bus stop and restaurants around the corner -individual heat control in the room -very reasonable price -opens for the season earlier than many B&Bs in Shanklin
