I organised a reunion on the I o W for a small group of Past District Governors from Lions International. We chose the Belmont on price and location. The rooms were excellent as was the food. It could not have been better, everyone said it was a brilliant choice.- A excellent choice of food at both breakfast and evening meals and of the very best quality, room could not have been better, Hotel owners very friendly and helpful.-
Had a 4 night break at the Belmont, and were greeted by Des the owner who immediately took our bags into the hotel. The accommodation was fantastic. The food was excellent and the hosts Des and Linda were very helpful and friendly. I recommend that you do not miss out on a lovely establishment.-

A beautiful hotel with sea-views and lovely, spacious, warm bedrooms. It boasts a downstairs bar, free beverages and parlour games in the lounge and free internet facilities next to reception. My photo shows room 15 as we found it in February 2011. The food is delicious, a perfect home-cooked breakfast with an excellent choice and all the trimmings.

Substantial evening meals are served at the well-stocked bar, should you decide not to go out to the one of the many nearby restaurants. There is a swimming pool in the peaceful gardens; look out for the red squirrels in the garden as you eat your breakfast! The hosts, Lynda and Des, hail from the Isle of Wight and provide you with a wealth of local knowledge.
