Services
Still retaining a Victorian elegance and warmth, the Belmont Hotel has been tastefully furnished and renovated to offer you all the modern facilities of guest accommodation in elegant surroundings. Standing in mature grounds well back from the road behind Keats Green, the Belmont enjoys peace and privacy, yet is ideally located a short stroll to the picturesque thatched Old Village and wooded Shanklin Chine, beach and town centre.
Complimentary Rm 3, 6, 9, 12, 16, 19Being a Victorian building, our accommodation comes in all different shapes and sizes, adding extra character, unlike a standard chain hotel. We offer a choice of Classic double bedded rooms or treat yourself with one of our luxury rooms, which are for those wanting that little bit of extra space, the large rooms with high ceilings come with superking 6' doubles or twins which come with comfortable seating and little extra's.Luxury Room 2 comes with a standard Double Bed, but benefits from the dressing room and Views.
I organised a reunion on the I o W for a small group of Past District Governors from Lions International. We chose the Belmont on price and location. The rooms were excellent as was the food. It could not have been better, everyone said it was a brilliant choice.- A excellent choice of food at both breakfast and evening meals and of the very best quality, room could not have been better, Hotel owners very friendly and helpful.-

A beautiful hotel with sea-views and lovely, spacious, warm bedrooms. It boasts a downstairs bar, free beverages and parlour games in the lounge and free internet facilities next to reception. My photo shows room 15 as we found it in February 2011. The food is delicious, a perfect home-cooked breakfast with an excellent choice and all the trimmings.
Substantial evening meals are served at the well-stocked bar, should you decide not to go out to the one of the many nearby restaurants. There is a swimming pool in the peaceful gardens; look out for the red squirrels in the garden as you eat your breakfast! The hosts, Lynda and Des, hail from the Isle of Wight and provide you with a wealth of local knowledge.
