I was here for the Weekend at a wedding. Last week. I'm disabled and in a wheelchair, my room was fab, plenty room to move about, I was in the Steading rooms, Brandy suite. A Disabled room. The staff were lovely very helpful and always willing to help. The meals were first Class and the Breakfast was better than some four star places I have been in.

Our Weekend of Celebrations were of the highest standard anyone could ask. My only let down, was getting ng from my room to the main hotel, the small peebles of the carpark, were very difficult to move on. Which was more than a challenge and very confident in my chair. So others would find its impossible. A path from the room to the entrance, would make it perfect. But don't let that put you off. Small sacrifice to make for a perfect weekend. The view was stunning everywhere. Highly recommend.

Location was stunning, very helpful friendly staff, the twin room with ensuite which has a rainfall shower over the bath was more than adaquate for a single occupant, well decorated and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with lots of choices including hot chocolate. The food was first class.

The location in which the hotel is located is lovely. We paid for a suite, However another guest was able to enter our room at 2am drunk. The food was average but the staff serving the were helpful and polite. We recieved feedback on the issue of someone gaining access to our room and an apology from the manager.

We recently stayed over Christmas in the old mill lodge. Staff were lovely at check in and called to check time we would be arriving. We were offered an earlier check in time but due to hubby working arrived. later. The old mill lodge is stunning. Had everything you wanted, very clean and although next to the hotel, very private. Hot tub was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We asked for a Xmas tree and they put one up for us also We can't wait to come back for another stay, highly recommended

We are currently spending Christmas week here in the lodges. We have been here for 3 days, with another 4 days to go. This place is out of this world, and can't recommend it enough. The staff are just super. friendly and kind. and to top it off. I was proposed to on our first night. It's just so beautiful. Thank you for being a part of the most memorable moment of my life xxx

You can't beat this hotels location. We were there for my brothers wedding. The lodge was lovely. Our room was cosy and they let us check in early which was really appreciated. Food was good, staff were lovely. The WiFi signal in the room wasn't great but it didn't bother us on this stay. Our room had sloping ceilings which would be bothersome for tall people as you can't walk upright down the side of the bed or you hit your head on the ceiling. But again, it didn't bother us. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.

Would highly recommend glen clova hotel to anyone 60 of us arrived on Friday 26th November for a weekend wedding Unfortunately storm Arwen put a damper on that No electricity, water, phone lines internet etc. etc Roads in and out were blocked by fallen trees(forests) & snow The hotel staff kept us updated on the situation We were provided with food & bbq and most of all the well stocked bar What an adventure it was, there was a big party on the Saturday night Wedding ceremony and meal went ahead on the Sunday - meal was amazing and plenty of it The most back to front wedding I've ever been to I doff my cap to Mhairi, and all her team for looking after us as I'm sure it was an upheaval trying to sort everything out for everyone (including themselves) Will definitely see you all again

I'm now a Mrs. Having dragged my now husband up what he called mount Everest 10 ish years ago we regularly go to the hotel for a dinner - the food is always phenomenal. The hot Choc is always a winner too. But. the staff are just the best! So thoughtful, bent over backwards to help me, I had the most beautiful wedding and meal and is probably the fullest I've ever been at a wedding meal! so no complaints from guests The lodges are fantastic!

We stayed in the Mill lodge and I had family in one of the others (they had a Sauna - I'm off to figure out when I can stay), cosy, clean, well stocked so you don't have to take half the kitchen with you and depending on lodge a hot tub or hot tub and sauna which I find hugely beneficial for weary bodies having danced the night away 5* / 10/10 / A+

We stopped here on the if chance of morning coffee whist touring the area and the staff were very accomidating and it was a lovely old bar that we sat in for it and they were vdog friendly I wish the coffee shops cafes and hotels in England would learn a lesson from most places in Scotland re letting dogs in the premises

Lovely hotel, staff friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the food excellent. Ideal place for hill walking, the only reason i didn't give 5 stars as i would have preferred a bath rather than shower after walking all day.

Brilliant views of the glen if you get the weather right, stayed in the lodge. Sauna and hot tub made for very comfortable weekend celebrations. Hotel food pretty good and bar has good nightlife on the Saturday.

Our second stay in Glen Clova and the hotel didn't disappoint! Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble, great selection on the menu with gluten and dairy free options available! Could do with working WiFi in all of the bedrooms but overall a great location for walking and relaxing!

Basic food. Staff nice, but a bit unorganised. A few changes could improve the experience, such as quieter music and ambient lighting. After dinner there was nowhere to have a drink! So we had to go home to finish the evening on my birthday.

Cycled up and stopped for coffee. The hotel has extended the decked area beside the bar to provide a large sheltered and heated outdoor area. They were fully compliant with the current regulations and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked although it would not have been necessary in our case but suggest you check anyway as it's a long way to be disappointed.

The hotel itself was lovely, clean and decorated beautifully! Our room / bathroom were amazing. The bed and pillows were super comfy, the pillows were actually thick and plush and luxurious and the shower was incredible. The setting no words can describe! If you want to get away into nature and you like hiking go here! Also the staff. WOW the staff. everyone was so lovely, so polite and so accommodating!

The staff went over and above to ensure we were happy and looked after, my fiance and I stayed for a few days and after the 2nd day the staff had learned what we liked and then began offering us what they knew we preferred. The staff even opened up a quiet room behind the bar for us because we're a bit antisocial and prefer quieter dinner arrangements which they didn't have to do.

If all of this hasn't sold you already the food was awesome! We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel every day, we loved everything we ate. I would highly recommend trying the onion rings and the fish and chips We were big fans! So yeah, I would strongly recommend staying here it was fabulous

A superb location in the most spectacular of the angus glens, and one of the finest areas of the scottish highlands. It's the perfect point to start good walks of any type, depending on your ability. But it doesn't take any walking skills to reach the stunning lakes up the mountains and admire the spectacular views. However, the hotel itself is not as special The food is not that amazing, but it's quite expensive.

The manager can often make guests feel uncomfortable as she is often on the edge because of stress. Do not expect to be mollycuddled! I would rather recommend people to spend the evening here, or to have a break from the walks drinking something in the afternoon, but not more.

I like the Glen Clova hotel for its situation and wonderful log fires. The food is fairly reasonable but the vegetables slightly over done at times. However still enjoyable and good for a night out. The staff are very friendly and drinks fairly priced for a hotel. Afternoon tea is very nice with a great choice of teas and comfortable sofas with free wifi.

There are many beautiful walks near to the hotel and it is well worth a visit in the evening or during the day. As a local I have been tempted to try a weekend in their log cabins which provide a private sauna and hot tub.
