I know I go after my work to help a costumer, but I did had a nice experience. And my costumer he was happy to find his suitcase open and have his medication for the night.

Stayed here in August, rooms dated, food average and a shocking manager. When we complained he told us to change hotels! Not interested in dealing with issues, just moving them on.staff are not great, breakfast was slow everyday, waiting 20 minutes for a coffee is just too long. Really not sure how the reviews continue to be so high, as many people during our stay were unhappy. Needs a full makeover, to match its amazing views.

Stayed for a week in an Ocean View room on 2nd floor. Fabulous view of the sea and St Ouen's Bay. Very comfortable room too with nice design features. Fresh fruit and complementary water every day, Molton Brown toiletries. We found this a very relaxing hotel in stunning grounds and with exemplary customer service in all areas. It is remote and we were very glad we hired a car.
Bus stop is a walk away and buses to St Helier only every 2 hours. Taxis about 13.50 to St Aubins one way, 12 single journey to airport. The restaurant is fine dining with menus from 60 plus per person. The wine list is a 28 page book, fine if you are a connoisseur but very pricey, a bit too pricey in my opinion. The food is lovely, traditional fine dining. St Ouen's Bay is glorious but no safe quick way down from the hotel grounds. With a car there are some fabulous places to see in Jersey. This hotel is a rare example of traditional top class service.

Great hotel with friendly and attentive staff all only to happy to help you enjoy your stay. Extensive grounds with great views espe ially at sunset. Good parking and a large breakfast menu. The room was a generous size very clean with plenty of hangers and drawers for clothes. The bathroom had a bath and in bath shower with plenty of hot water. The only slight issue is that the room did not have air conditioning and we stayed when the temp. was in the very high 20's. Fans were available.

Afternoon tea for a friend's special birthday. Lovely setting. We all thought we shouldn't have had to ask for some simple things such as butter for the scones, sugar, milk and hot water. It should all come at once. Also waiting staff didn't come and check with us at all if everything was ok. We had to keep asking. Had a good time though.

We had an excellent al fresco lunch there celebrating with family over a special event. The food was very good, lovely view by the pool and the waiters were all really nice, although the service was slow at one point. They had a wedding ceremony on the lawn nearby in mid-afternoon. Perhaps next time worth reminding the restaurant guests to keep the noise volume down for the wedding party? Overall a pleasant visit.
