Seymour Hotels is the largest and longest established hotel group in Jersey. Founded in 1920, it is still proudly owned and managed by the Seymour family today. It remains very much a family concern, and this is reflected in the hotels' friendly and courteous service. We are committed to providing our guests with an excellent experience and the best value for money in the Channel Islands.
As we are celebrating our centenary this year we have created a dedicated website to the history of Seymour Hotels. The Seymour family have been associated with Jersey since 1920, when George Frederick and Ada Seymour came to the island on their honeymoon. What is today the Channel Island's largest hotel group started with a small, 5 bedroom guest house in Halkett Place, named 'Merton House' after George's London home town.
This area of our website is dedicated to the travel trade, and the general public have no access. Please note that access will only be given to organisations that are existing Trade Partners of Seymour Hotels or who wish to develop business with our Hotels. Average selection of keg beer. We ordered food. 30 min later we checked were the food was to be told the kitchen hadn't received / or taken the order. Total disorganisation. We weren't the only one having trouble with orders. Atmosphere not help by punters standing in door way smoking let the smell into the bar.
