What a wonderful discovery Old Pines Lodge Hotel was. A cosy and comfortable hotel room stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. The restaurant was delicious. Breakfast and Dinner was included and with two hungry boys aged 11 and 14 a highlight of each day was deciding what new things to try from the menu. Rosie and the team at Old Pines did a wonderful job looking after us.
The Hotel is also in the perfect location for exploring the local area.we climbed Ben Nevis (packed lunch curtesy of the Hotel), paddle boarded in the Caledonian Canal and went Sea Kayaking in Loch Sunart. There is also a lively circular work straight from the Hotel. We had an amazing 5 days and we can't wait to come back.

Our dinner was fabulous! We had delicious meals, all with excellent service, and good quality wine sold by the 1/2 litre which is great if you're driving so don't want a full bottle. The portions were just right - still room for dessert but not feeling as as though the meal was too small to be satisfying. Flavours were interesting but also beautifully balanced. I wish I lived locally and could dine there more often!

We had an excellent meal here on Friday night. Delicious, mouth watering food with a good variety of dishes on the menu. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Special thanks to Imogen who was very helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us. We weren't staying at this hotel but we definitely will next time we are back in the area!

Amazing! Everything! Emailed about rooms and they responded immediately. Fastest check in ever. They had our keys waiting and we walked in and they took us right to our rooms. Rooms were very clean, decorated well, comfy bed. There were homemade cookies in the room. And hot chocolate. We went on a walk that leaves right from the property down through a meadow of ferns and into the forest, then along the river to some Jacobite ruins from the 1700s.
Then back for dinner at the inn which was amazing. I highly recommend one of the non alcoholic cocktails. They brought out bread and butter, and nuts and olives as soon as we sat down. The meal was really good and all of the staff was very nice. And the view from the restaurant is incredible. Everything was perfect. And it was awesome to be in such a quiet, peaceful and beautiful spot. If your passing through the highlands this place is a must stop. We'll be back for sure.

Modern hotel and restaurant located just outside of Spean Bridge with a great view of Ben Nevis. Comfortable beds and pillows with large rooms and modern bathroom with shower. Television and good WiFi. Complimentary cook to order breakfast and afternoon tea with scones or biscuits. Friendly and helpful staff and management. Hiking trail nearby that starts from the Commando Memorial and passes the old High Bridge historical site.
This hotel also serves a five star home cooked dinner to guests and travelers. Great menu of starters, main course and desserts prepared with locally grown produce and meats such as venison, beef, chicken and fish. They also have several tasty vegan/vegetarian meals available and full bar service. This is a great location for a nice peaceful retreat. #oldpines #speanbridge

If you are looking for a great bed and breakfast located in the Scottish Highlands, then you should consider staying here. We booked four nights here and were not disappointed. We had the family suite so our son had is own little room and we shared a bathroom. It only has a few rooms, so it's not very noisy. The family seems to do everything. Any question or issue we had was promptly addressed and taken care of. The food was great and the views amazing.

This is a lovely little place off the beaten path. Booked it online and couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful as is the setting. The walking trail with goats nearby was a great way for my wife and I to settle the delicious meal we had here. Then we got a bottle of red for the room and called it a night. I highly recommend the Old Pines if you are looking for a warm, relaxing and comfortable place to stay. We are from Oregon in the USA and it feels like home.
