Love the Wycliffe. In the last few years it seems to have taken a step up. The service reflects the family feel of the place, good like the service in Guiliano's (Wilmslow) was five years ago. I never used to get to excited about eating here but we went tonight and they have got the 'do five things well' menu bossed. They have a pretty good wine list that covers the bases for value/having fancy pants on. We feel lucky to have it as the place around the corner.

35 of us visited The Wycliffe today, for our Christmas meal. We were warmly welcomed by Richard and the staff there. The Christmas meal was excellent, very nice food and served really hot, which was pretty amazing as we didn't have to pre order the meal, I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this venue for a meal. Thank you

Our son's wedding reception was held at The Wycliffe a couple of weeks ago, with several of the guests staying in the hotel overnight. The organisation was spot-on, and the evening meal for around 70 guests was fabulous in all respects. The hotel has a comfortable, relaxed, and friendly feel to it, all the staff were brilliant, and we would thoroughly recommend The Wycliffe to anyone planning something like this in the future.

On a recent visit to the local flight simulator experience we were given a warm welcome by Mark who could not have been more professional & helpful. The hotel is situated a 2 minute drive away from the simulator experience & was just so easy to get to. The room was well equipped & very clean & comfortable. We were welcomed the follow morning by Becky for breakfast which was freshly cooked, very generous & tasty. Would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.!

I can't thank The Wycliffe enough for their kindness, service and assistance. When we booked it looked like we would have to quarantine and they graciously agreed to have us stay over a Sun & Mon 'non-rev' nights. While we ended up not dealing with quarantine regs, the owner personally made us breakfast on their closed day. Our daughter and her partner organized their post-wedding dinner with them and it was delicious.

Great service, very reasonably priced including a lovely breakfast and free car parking. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bar was well stocked and dinner was delicious. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this well run family hotel. Nothing flashy, but what they do, they do very well. Will definitely look to go back in the future.

Very poor situated hotel, it is on a busy main rd and the soundproofing is poor. it has a bus stop right outside the Hotel and every time a Bus stops or a large wagon passes you are woken by the engine noise or the rattling of furniture in the bedroom. i would not stay here again even if they paid me too. the place was scruffy and outdated, the food was unpleasant and so were the majority of the staff. Stay here at your peril
