Services
Please accept our apologies, as we do not have any budget rooms here at the Eskdale Lodge. All our bedrooms, however, have been recently refurbished, individually decorated and fitted to a high standard which include en-suite facilities, LCD flat screen television with additional satellite channels, FREE wireless internet connection, mineral water and a welcome tray consisting of tea and coffee making facilities and luxury biscuits. Our rooms are charged on a room only rate giving you the guest maximum flexibility and choice.
For all bookings we require credit/debit card details or a deposit of 50.00 to confirm the booking. Any deposit must reach us within 7 days of making the booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking. The balance is due on departure. We accept the following forms of payment: cash, cheque with bankers card, debit card, credit card.
We put a lot of faith into the quality of service we provide with every guest treated on an individual basis. After all, we are all different. Some people prefer to be greeted with a formal manner and as such wish for their service to be of a more proffessional nature, whilst others prefer a much more open approach.
Home-cooked food, great drinks and a warm welcome all served up in both the cosy new look Cellar Bar, or in the more spacious Ground Floor Bar. Our two bars are accessible to residents and non-residents alike. Our friendly staff welcome old friends and new to relax over a drink, read the papers or maybe take in a bit of sport.

Starter of tomato and basil bread was delicious fish and chips perfect, the two steak pies were both hard to the point of inedible pastry filling tasty one had chips the other cold undercooked fries, both were ordered with chips. Deserts were standard sundaes. Not as good as usual so they did not charge for the coffee.

The amazing Award Winning Eskdale Lodge has a great selection of beers, National award winning food and a lovely atmosphere. The owners are the friendliest people you can meet and it's always a great place to visit. It's also home to the Superheroes of Sale, an award winning group who run and visit people for charity donations. Spoiler alert - Batman lives in the 'Batcave' at the back of the Lodge.

Very friendly staff, even if there isn't many of them! room was nice, clean and tasteful although finding the light switch was a bit of a challenge in the dark (room 7). Bedding was fine although the pillows were a bit hard for my taste food was fantastic, It is pub style food but freshly cooked, large portions and very tasty. oh and at a very reasonable price.
