Enjoyed a 3 course dinner from the bar menu, excellent value. Very friendly, welcoming staff especially Andrew. He is polite, courteous and everything a good hotel needs. The hotel is being refurbished and the toilets near the bar definitely need a makeover although Andrew advised this part of the hotel will be reserved for staff in the future. The toilets were clean though and inspected. We were travelling in our motorhome, so cannot comment on bedrooms but the hotel and grounds are lovely.

Came to dine as a non resident here at the hotel. We sat in the dog friendly bar. Host was really friendly and polite. Unfortunately we were offered a different menu at the bar as opposed to the restaurant menu. Options were average and only two vegetarian options. Food was very tasty however. I believe improvements could be made to the bar menu, and the area needs modernising.

Had such a lovely experience at the hotel. Took my sister for a birthday spa treatment. Our massage was great. The staff throughout the hotel were beyond helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The only reason it lost a star on location was that it is on quite a busy road and trying to get a taxi to the station was very difficult!
Although I suspect I'm just used to the ease of the city! A really lovely, relaxing stay though which is a direct reflection of the hard work of the staff. Would definitely recommend.

First & foremost I wanted to say how impressed we were with how friendly & helpful every member of staff we encountered! Free access to the spa included with booking although we booked last minute so didn't manage to book any treatments. We had a lunch & breakfast here. Both super. We swapped to a dog friendly room which had access straight to outside.
Our dog was made such a fuss off & even given sausages at breakfast. Only downside for us was that the room was really warm (heating on in bathroom) & so usually we would sleep with the windows open but there were very loud people in rooms around us so we had to close them. Fab location, we would definitely return!

Visited last weekend. What a wonderful hotel! I tried the scones, whotch were delicious! I also met the general manager Becky who was walking another guests doggy. I have such a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back. The little touches make a big difference and they know how to incorporate those here.

We stayed at the hotel and spa for two nights. It was a red letter voucher that we had been given as a Christmas present. Included with it was one evening meal and breakfast both days as well as use of the spa facilities at the hotel. Separate to the that I booked a facial treatment as a treat. The staff in both the hotel and the spa were friendly, efficient and always had a smile.
The room had great decor and was well cleaned before we arrived. The evening meal and breakfasts were all freshly made and the service was excellent. The spa facilities were great and made the stay so relaxing, and the facial treatment was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommended a visit, perfect for a couples treat.

Nice little hotel near the centre of Llangollen. Good base for exploring North Wales. Excellent spa on site with skilled therapist (Linda), who did a great job. Nice hot pools with seriously good water jets. Steam and sauna rooms too. Nice bedrooms with key card entry and very well cleaned and sanitised. Breakfast restaurant manager also served us lunch and was extremely friendly and a proper gentleman. Didn't try a main meal, but breakfast and light lunch were both very good, as was the service. Well done.

A last minute booking but we didn't get disappointed. We booked our table for dinner and a Spa/sauna time slot on arrival and we had the whole spa for ourselves. Dinner - delicious, locally sourced leek and potato soup followed by venison sausages. Helpful staff, great service whilst adhering Covid regulations.
