Nice enough B&B style hotel right near the centre of Oxford, nice clean room, only downside was the shower didn't work so if you read this the shower in room 11 is kaput lol road noise in our room was a little loud but I guess they can't really help that, free parking and breakfast included, would use again if I was in Oxford for a show

First & foremost, me & my husband-to-be arrived too early for check in time, but they allowed us to leave our baggage bag behind, while we proceeded further to explore Oxford. That was really helpful of them as I am somebody who hates carrying heavy luggages. The owner couple (assuming they are the owners) were both friendly especially the lady. Plus, we had an upgrade to a room with our own en suite bathroom & toilet. Wow.
The room was very clean. Our first night was very cold (to me especially, since I am Asian & not used to cold) heating was not that great, the heater close to my side (window side) was nkt working. The best thing was we were already provided with a separate blanket warmer aside from the duvet. I wanted to voice out my concern about the heating there, but turned out we did not need to as during our second night, heating was working already & the room was warmer, much to my delight.
Free breakfast was okay for the price we paid I guess. Some suggestions: probably a safer place to store luggages & more secure main entrance door as it was always left open for anybody to come in during the day. Thank you. Room 9 14-16 March 2022

Had a two night stay in a hotel chosen by price to save money. When we arrived we were ok to leave our bags and that seamed good. When we came back to check in we were upgraded to room with on suit, so no need to share wc. The room was on second floor and the stairs leading to it were similar to ones in Oxford Castle and Prison museum, very narrow and whirly.
The room looked nice, cosy and there was cofee station, but no toilet amenities. Not a big deal, closer to the night we realized that even when closed the the sound from outside was as if windows are open. Also the heating first night was bad and Im usually ok with cold. We also had included continental breakfast that was ok, but second day we ate outside just to enjoy more. The outside door was not really monitored, maybe its ok, but anyone could get in and attempt to do bad things.

Very expensive for what is offered. The room and some parts of the premises are outdated and would need serious refreshing (notably in the annexe where water is leaking through the ceiling in the entrance and where some heaters only work for 2 hours a day). The included breakfast is minimal: only coffee or tea, (overcooked) toasts, some cereals, yogurt and boiled eggs. The service depends on the staff's mood. For instance, the manager refused to help me with my luggages, for she was "busy on her phone".

Fab, friendly and well priced. I arrived early and was offered a cup of tea in the beautifull garden. The staff kept parking spaces for us and gave us restaurant recommendations. The bedrooms were basic but the beds were comfortable and it was only a 10 min walk into town so i wouldnt hesitate in staying again.

Back today from our 3rd stay with Karen and Lee and they never disappoint and are going again next year. They make you feel very welcome. The rooms are lovely and clean and they have been busy updating the. building and rooms. Their food is always very delicious and they provide plenty of it. Their evening meals are an added bonus and are very reasonably priced. They also have a licenced bar and inside and outside seating area. The car park is a good size too. Would highly recommend.

Really close to the city centre, in a very quiet area/street. Nice bedroom where we had space. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good though they could offer a wider menu especially for people who don't like salted food in the morning. But lovely staff! I largely recommend it for a nice weekend in Oxford!

Really clean and tidy room. Really nice breakfast staff and lovely breakfast! Shared toilet in an annex house down the street but it was fine. Only problem was there was no parking available when we arrived. There are only about 10 spaces so this must be a common issue. Parked on residential overnight then there luckily was a space. They should consider making this clearer on their adverts as it would be difficult to find the promised free parking otherwise.

A lovely breakfast space and comfortable rooms in a very convenient location. Our bathroom was a little odd but workable. Water however was cold for bathing. Helpful owner who provided an electric fan for us to keep the heat in our room at bay. Many such places have no air-con and in the summer heat a full bedroom can be unbearably hot. Navigating the stairs and corridor can be a little difficult when you have large bags. Single file access only. Garden space was lovely and breakfast was good.
