Waterton Park Hotel

Went to this venue for a friends wedding. The whole experience was fantastic. Lovely staff, especially the bar staff. Food was also top notch.

Beautiful hotel! Amazing old castle feel! Water surrounding the hotel was fantastic! Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was amazing! Quiet and had all the amenities! Shower was excellent! Bar service and room service were top notch! There was a wedding everyday which was lovely! Security code needed to enter and exit the main gate. Plenty of parking! Staff was super nice and helpful for us to find our way around! Definitely will be coming back soon and booking again and again!

Went there on a friends son's wedding, fabulous location in great grounds with a lake around it, you have to walk over a bridge across the lake to get to the building. From entering the service was 2nd to none with great views from the bar, drinks a tad expensive but expected, but even so 6.70 for a cask beer was a bit OTT. The rooms were a bit dated but clean with a big bath and shower and a massive bed, the only problem was that the room was very warm at night but we had a fan in the room which did help the temperature a bit, our room was overlooking the lake with a spacious balcony to sit out on and wat h the swans, ducks and geese swim by.

Wedding room set up very elegantly and the food and service by the staff exemplary. The evening buffet also excellent with a brilliant disco. Was feeling a bit rough on the Sunday morning but the breakfast saw to that. Excellent fried breakfast if you wanted it or a excellent choice of fruit, cereals, yoghurts you name it it was there. All in all a excellent weekend away.

We have just had my Daughter's wedding at Waterton Park and what a fabulous day it was. Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms and pleasant staff. A wonderful time was had by all.

Our daughter was married here on Easter Sunday. As her previous venue was unavailable at very short notice, with the help of Pauline & Emma the whole wedding was rearranged - to an amazingly high standard. We all had a brilliant day. Everyone loved their rooms - not one complaint. Every member of staff throughout the hotel was helpful & friendly. All in all fantastic day, place & staff

Can't comment on rooms as only went for a day event. Hotel set in beautiful location room little dated but still nice. Buffet laid on was very poor cold sandwiches with chips very random fatty ham and just not what expect in such a grand place

Staff was very helpful! We had booked afternoon tea for 6 of us, 1 was vegetarian and 1 had a nut allergy and they was very accommodating for us! The afternoon tea itself was fantastic never seen so many desserts on one plate! Definitely value for the price over all we had a lovely stay :

The hotel is so beautiful. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and clean The staff are the kindest most helpful and polite staff I have ever known. They really cannot do enough to make your stay amazing. This hotel is a must for anyone wanting the very best of everything. The leisure centre is so clean and every facility you could ask for The food is fabulous.

What can I say, such a beautiful place The room we stayed in I couldn't not find fault was really big andhad a fantastic view, the bed was so big and comfortable, our bathroom was amazing aswell the whole room was spotless. The breakfast was 10/10 and we had an evening meal that's was beautiful and the afternoon tea was lovely. The staff was so friendly we had the best weekend ever and because we had to cancel twice so it was third time lucky we had a lovely card on our bed and chocolates saying glad we made it. We are definitely going to book again in

Lovely hotel and surroundings. Great breakfast. Only thing for us was the mattress was very uncomfortable. Too hard. The bath drained off so couldn't sit in it for long without having to top up.

Unfortunately our meal today New Year eve lunchtime was not the standard o have had in the past. The chips were dark and soft very unpleasant. They had many items on the menu unavailable. There was a wedding so very busy.

Visited for kids swimming with the grandparents. Great viewing gallery in the bar/cafe. Excellent service.

We have just attended a wedding ceremony at this venue with an overnight stay. And all I can say is what a fantastic weekend we have had, the venue is amazing and the wedding planner was excellent at her job, very efficient and professional in every way. The food was very good and the staff really friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic for this kind of event. All finished off with a good night's sleep in a nice cosy room, and a nice breakfast too. Highly recommended at least worth an enquiry.

Set in a stunning location, the service and facilities provided at this hotel were first class during our 3 night stay. Bedrooms were spacious, food was delicious and the staff service is first class. We would highly recommend Waterton Park and my wife and I will definitely stay again in future. Awesome!

We went here for a night away from our kids, beautiful place and lovely walks, food was excellent, staff brilliant and very polite. Unfortunately we didn't use any of there facilities due to staying in the bar for too long the only negative was the temperature in the room, it was hot very hot and then there was my hot girlfriend so you can imagine how hot it actually got in there . You couldn't turn the radiators down and we didn't realise we could have opened one of the windows slightly.

Love this hotel. Worth the visit and the money. My kids call this 'the hotel' and treat here almost like a second home. Have stayed for weddings and just to visit and never had a bad experience. Rooms are good size, bathrooms good size too and have always been clean. Family suites and rooms are massive especially in new building. Bar on the island is a great place to relax, and food here good to. The Breakfast is spot on, cooked to order. The pool overlooking the lake is a gem, heated and child friendly. 5*

Very good hotel. Receptionist when we arrived very friendly & efficient, rooms very nice & the grounds are just amazing. Food was good we only had breakfast. Gym faculty very good, especially the equipment by the side of the lake so you can watch the wildlife as you pedal. Pool is a good size as well. Charlie's bar very very good, great layout with good selection of drinks, and very friendly service.
