I mean it's all relative isn't it. My experience wasn't great but the couple in the room below us seemed to be having a great time. The family room was very dated. Breakfast on Friday was fantastic cooked freshly. On the Saturday it was a buffet style and was ok just left under high heat lamps for a while. Staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. Location was brilliant lots of lovely walks.

We've spent an overnight stay here to celebrate my mum's birthday. The rooms are basic but clean with everything you need. We requested an accessible room and we were allocated a room on the ground floor with a large wet room which was ideal. There are lifts available for rooms on other floors. The car park is right outside main entrance. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. There is a bar, restaurant and beauty treatment room.

We was upgraded so instead of costing 75 including breakfast it cost 115 including breakfast. The upgrade was old tierd. It was in a loft space only 1 small window. Room 408. Supposed to be executive suit. To me looking at rooms it was junior suit. it was easter weekend i stayed 18th to 19th. What a poor poor upgrade this room was not fits for chickens.
The so called jacuzzi lol it was a bath with large cracks in the pannels down side so darnt not use it. Paint was peeling of the walls in places. No hair dryer or iron in the room and the cups was a little tea stained. This was my 4th stay at this hotel passing thruogh with work. I wont be staying again. I spoken too someone at the front desk on leaving about the state of the room and the price that was charged. She apologies and said a manger would contact me about the matter as there wasnt one available. 3 weeks later no email or call.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were travelling back to the south coast from Edinburgh and we wish we hadn't. Room was dirty, carpet stains all over the place, stair carpet was cleaner! Bed was very uncomfortable, springs digging in to you. All you could smell all night was someone smoking weed! Very old and dated and badly needs refurbishment. Restaurant was closed and the bar was full of all the locals, it was like a mens social club back in the 80's/early 90's, would definitely NOT recommend this place.

We stopped for one night, and chose this as it was where we'd spent our wedding night many moons ago! It clearly hasn't changed in the past 20 years, and needs some modernisation. The decor was very dated, carpets, walls & ceilings stained. It felt very dark everywhere. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the pillows were like stiff boards. The shower was nice and hot, but controls were really stiff.
No plug sockets near bed, and a very old looking electric wall heater on wall. Breakfast was reasonable, but one poor (very lovely) lady trying to do everything, meant tables weren't cleared, and service a bit erratic. Limited options available too. It wasn't terrible, but needs a lick of paint, brighter lighting and a bit of modernising.

We have just recently got married there I went to the hotel as Miss Fletcher & left as Mrs. Sykes, we had a fabulous couple of nights there the food was excellent and the service of the very friendly professional staff was outstanding all made possible by a very special lady Mrs. Melanie. Hall who organised our wedding me & my husband couldn't of done it without her, Melanie is excellent at her job, if any very small criticism I would just maybe update the rooms but I am lead to believe this happening in the new year.
I wouldn't hesitate about going back for a overnight stay or calling in for food, the hotel is fabulous we loved every minute of and can't wait to call again in the very near future.

Myself and my now wife recently got married at Hotel St Pierre and it was nothing less than amazing. Melanie Hall was our wedding co-ordinator and the lady was unbelievable. Her advice and guidance made our day go completely without hitch. Everything was taken care of, our food for our wedding breakfast and evening buffet was delicious. Everyone of our guests were so very impressed with the whole event. It was a perfect wedding and my expectations were simply blown away. Thank you all at Hotel St Pierre.
