Named after the founder of the Redbeck Motel "Alwynne", Al's Bar is a fully licensed bar serving draught and bottled beers, 7 days a week. Great place to relax after a long day. Al's Bar is family-friendly and invites you to bring along the children to play safely in the enclosed beer garden and children's play area.

Having read several positive reviews about the food we decided to visit and see for ourselves. We were not disappointed. The breakfasts that we ordered were delicious and the staff were helpful and efficient. A large jukebox poured out a variety of tunes whilst we ate. The place was spotlessly clean, as were the play area and the car park. All of the prepared foods in the display counter looked absolutely delicious, I wish I could have eaten many of them. We will return, hopefully soon, to try a lunch and pudding.

First time I stayed I was really surprised by how '24/7' this place is. The staff are extremely helpful, the rooms are fine to get your head down. Showers great, food is very good. And going back to the always-open thing, when you're setting out at 3am, it's nice to have a breakfast to go with. Not many places do that.
