It's a great family room, with five of us it can often be difficult to find something altogether that isn't cramped. The room is a good size with an en suite that is generous in proportions. A very warm welcome, comfortable rooms, good choice of meals on the menu and of course the excellent choice of beers.

Lovely, cosy pub. Food was excellent with a good choice. We also had breakfast, which again, had a good choice and was cooked Lovely. Nice bright breakfast room and good service. We stayed at the adjoining accommodation. The room was very clean, with a good size bathroom. The TV was very small, and normally this wouldn't bother us, but as the nights are now getting darker we retired earlier, so a bigger TV would have been a nice to have.
The pub and accommodation are very dog friendly and there are plenty of walks within a short distance. The owner were lovely and really looked after us. We had a lovely few days.

Lovely atmosphere. Rooms excellent, plenty of space. Clean and plenty tea, coffee, biscuits along with large bottle of water. Landlord was very friendly and wicked sense of humour. I did not find him grumpy at all. He obviously has a lot to do with premises opposite each other. Most accommodating. Even switched coffee machine back on after having done Sunday lunches for 72 in order to provide us with filtered coffee. Would definitely visit again. Good food prepared freshly. Most enjoyable stay.
