Fantastic! Sarah and Steve made us feel so welcome - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautifully kept - everything is sparkling clean and in good repair. The quality and variety of the breakfast was amazing, and we ate dinner a couple of times and had sandwiches at lunch. All food was first class! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the swimming pool was heated and clean. Overall a fabulous experience and we will definitely return.

Lovely views and heated open air pool, comfy beds, very good breakfast. But very expensive for what it was - 10 for a pot of tea for two is too much and felt like they were taking advantage. Dinner also very overpriced. Perhaps they've lost the chef as some rate the food as 'outstanding' - it wasn't. Much better value to be found in Sidmouth.

Approach from Sidcup rather than honiton. The road becomes less of a road and more a mixture of ditches and mud tracks the closer you get to honiton. Pros: Nice owner, outdoor tennis court (although access is questionable on a not so sunny day) Cons: No WiFi (except in restaurant/bar if it is open), very rare that restaurant/bar is open. It's been 2 weeks and it's been open twice.
Barely any Mobile Cell signal unless you enjoy standing out in the courtyard/carpark. Room design is very 80s. Cottage layout makes privacy non-existent. Furniture is old, damaged and in need of replacing. Appliances need updating. All in all. If you want to visit. Spend as little time as possible at the hotel.

Yet again Sarah and Stephen have provided excellent accommodation at their countryside property. Clean and spotless plus so appreciated the lovely fresh flowers! Sat outside to read my book but just continually gazed at the stunning countryside! Thank you both and look forward to my next visit. reunnincountrysidecontinually gased

Highly recommend staying here. It is clear that this is a hotel that runs with very high standards. The beds were very comfortable, rooms spotlessly clean, grounds and swimming pool are well maintained. If you want a relaxing break then come here - the views are stunning. On top of that you are made to feel very welcome by Sarah and Stephen.
