As it was our honeymoon this weekend. I thought id treat me new wife to a nice hotel. I wasn't rong there helen and shaun was brilliant very pleasant and very help full made our weekend complete. The room was great the scaffolding was ok but it never spoiled our stay. The only thing that up set my wife was this morning the maid who cleans the room was very rude indeed on knocking the door she was abrupped and rude housekeeping before we could say no thanks she said do you want the room cleaning YES OR NO my wife replied not yet befor she could say can you come back in 5 mins please the maid said yes or no abruptly.
We wasent impressed with her attitude. I have done the job shes done and ive always put the customer first like housekeeping would you like your room serviced in 5 please ok no worries ill come back not yes or no.

Having stayed regularly at this hotel for the past 17 years this was our first visit since the recent pandemic. Despite being slightly apprehensive we were so relieved that the same high standards have been maintained. The staff still as friendly, the food still as delicious, the cleanliness top class and the atmosphere still welcoming and gracious. Well done the Belmont! Despite covid 19 and all the extra precautions you're obliged to take, you're still an amazing place to stay.
