Super hotel very clean. Very nice food superb menu even if you have dietary needs that's what it said on the menu. But one evening I didn't like what was on the menu and some I can't digest. I asked a waiter if the chief could make me a omelette the waiter went to ask and another one came back to my table and hid behind a wall so that people couldn't see him and said to me in a nasty tone of voice. No Madame that breakfast .I should have stood up and told him not to speak to me in that tone of voice but I am not a nasty person.

Such a lovely mini 2-night break in a beautiful hotel in a stunning location, with an easy level walk to all that Sidmouth has to offer. Staff all great; attentive and friendly. Food superb and dining room charming; loved the pianist and fun quiz in the evenings too. Comfortable and clean room, with superb views of the sea and coastline. Listening to the waves was a treat. Would happily recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Grade 2 listed gem in the middle of one of the prettiest seafronts in the UK. Old hotel but maintained to a good standard we had a balcony room looking straight onto the beach. Miles better and miles more affordable than nearby Lyme Regis - just book well ahead for dinner if outside the hotel in Sidmouth!

A slice of Paradise, particularly in these trying times! We first encountered this hotel on a coach trip and were most impressed. Since then we have been back twice, with a further visit planned for this month. The food is excellent, dietary requirements well catered for, the beds are comfortable, the staff and surroundings first rate. I can highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Enjoyed returning to the Hotel-so ideally positioned on the seafront. This time I was with my two twenty-something sons. Hotel is SO comfortable. The restaurant is superbly managed. Great choice at meals and extremely prompt service (in contrast to some other hotels in town). The staff in the restaurant are so well attired and helpful.
