Comfort Inn Milton Keynes

First impressions looks like a travel lodge, same kinda set up with room plans etc but you have a little bar and eating area for take outs, pwrfect for the travelling contract which is my purpose of this stay

First room we went in was dirty so they moved us to a different room which was fine but other room was just as bad. Extra star is because staff are nice

The room is nothing like the picture. It was extremely dirty, wasn't even hoovered. No internet connection, Oh my God the shower was 4 line of water dripping down, I have a short hair and took just 15 minutes to do 1 round shampoo and wash, no electric plugs by bed to charge the phone, It says iron available but it wasn't any. Bed and pillow cases smell horrible, I had to cover the pillow with my shirt. Spider and dead insects everywhere, on floor, in toilet, windows were locked.

The receptionist said there are no bar staff in weekends. He said there are no cleaners in weekends. After first night I asked for part refund as was mentioned at beginning that was an option but then receptionist said they took the money and is none refundable. The duvet was do thin and surly good for baby and not an adult. It was disgusting. Had to go up and down 4 times to get the key card to open the room as it wasn't working and at the end they gave me that master key to open the door and the only key.

I asked for receipt on check out and none was available to be given. They ask me to be patient to receive one in 2 days time. Why on Earth this building even listed as hotel? If you have kids don't go here. Absolutely wrong crowd in weekends, all I heard from other rooms were loud sexual activities by women moaning. Horrible. And no money will be refunded.

We were booked but on arrival it looked tired from the outside. we were told by the owners our room hadn't been cleaned nor had the rest ifvthe hotel. no.cleaner. cancelled straight away and went elsewhere.

Comfy bed, pleasant staff, restaurant not open, bar not stocked enough, no emergency toiletries, that aside I would stay again

If you want to stay at this hotel please read all of this first. There was only one thing good about the place and that was the new receptionist. She was absolutely amazing, all questions we asked were answered and she made sure the stay. Where do I even start about the cons. Both bosses where useless, I asked the man boss a question and he didn't know the answer, same with the women boss.

I over heard an argument and The man said something absolutely rude to the receptionist which the receptionist replied with if you talk to me like that again I won't work for you anymore, he then replied with I would rather lose business than leave that guest where you put her. Safe to say I will never stay here again.

Its clean and tidy enough as a basic hotel, but miles away from Milton Keynes centre with no direct bus service unless you walk into Deanshanger. Taxi to center is probably 1/4 of the hotel price for a night. Dont be fooled by the name. One for budget travellers looking to just get the head down then leave to continue a journey. Ideally with a car!

Absolutely rotten, blood on my bed, 2 pin tv pug rammed into a 3 pin, bathroom was covered in grime and the whole place smelt stale. We were booked in for two nights and only stayed one. When we complained about the tv socket they tried to blame other customers. Stay away

Stayed here for one evening, will not be staying here again. On arrival at the hotel, my booking was confirmed but my payment for the room was not (this was through Amoma). I then had to allow money to be held in my bank account by the hotel in order to stay, even though prepayment was taken 7 months in advance. I booked a twin room, there were none available so we were told we had been "upgraded" to a family room.

The double bed was made up, but no linen was provided for the sofa bed - which I pulled out to find brown stains on both sides of the mattress- which is not really acceptable. The chair in the bedroom was also so old that it no longer had the faux leather on it. I overlooked this, and went to reception to request linen, and reception let me know someone would bring it up.

No one came. I went out for the rest of the day, and on arriving back at 2am, tired and after walking 2.5 miles because a prebooked skyliner taxi didn't arrive, I was too tired to bother going back to reception again to request the non existent bedding. Overnight we then get an invoice shoved under the door saying we are being charged for the room.

Extremely unimpressed to have this shoved under the door. It strikes me as a little rude. A polite note to contact reception would be nicer. Went to reception in the morning; they advised the invoice was a mistake and payment had been received. But still the amount in my bank account is on hold. Quick to put your money on hold, not quick unblocking your money. Really put a nasty stain on my 30th weekend away. Would not recommend staying here.

Brilliant staff, very kind and helpful. Room was ok. It's the staff, why, l would return. Hope you pay them well. They are lovely carol

The Hotel needs some work, like some newer bathrooms and a splash of paint. Maybe a little menu for evenings needs to be addressed as getting food is not that easy. But it's clean and cosy and the Romanians who run it for the owners give them the 4 stars as the owners don't even respond to you when you talk to them. If they ever decide to leave I can it out of business within a year they are so courteous and will do anything they can to make you happy, will go every year for F1 as long as the Romanians are still there. Thankyou

Reasonable price. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Rooms could do with a freshen up.

Nice place to stay although main road was a bit noisy but bearable. Staff really friendly and were very welcoming. Would liked to have dinner there but restaurant was closed. There's an Indian takeaway nearby and that was closed too (Tuesday's only). Staff did however have takeaway brochures and ordered on my behalf. There's a bar and a small lounge too. The room was ok for the price (65) but was room only. Bed comfy and everything was clean and tidy. I would stay here again.
