Moore Place Hotel Our delightfully restored Georgian manor house, originally built by Francis Moore as a family home in 1786 and set in the square of the tranquil and picturesque village of Aspley Guise in Bedfordshire. Step into our white columned porch way and through the traditional Georgian front door of this graceful old building and a warm welcome awaits you. Sympathetically restored, every effort has been made to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and, as you listen to the sound of the waterfall in the garden, it is hard to imagine you are only 8 miles from the bustling centre of Milton Keynes which is only a 15 minute drive away.

Although we only stayed one night here, I found the the staff to be quite friendly, helpful and well turned out. The room we were given had a lovely little balcony overlooking the pond and courtyard. The room decor itself had obviously at one time been quite up market but is now sadly neglected. The mattresses where are of good quality if a little too firm for my needs. I'm afraid as we didn't use the restaurant I can't comment on the food. Please be aware there is NO LIFT. Would love to visit again.

Decent and spacious rooms, comfy bed and very nice, if slightly overpriced, breakfast. Convenient, rural location for MK South area

Stayed here for a night recently. We were in the cottage room 83. The room was very dated and in need of some TLC. Cracks in the walls, skirting boards coming away from walls and furnishing quite dated. The windows were wide open when we arrived and it wasn't until 3am when we realised that this was done as the room was bad with damp being severe asthmatic this meant I was up from 3am having difficulty breathing. Such a shame as with care the room could be lovely. I wouldn't recommend staying in this part of the hotel.

Traveled up from south London on 23rd may for over night stay and breakfast. From the moment you walk in all the staff are so helpful and polite with great sense of humour all of the staff are a credit to the hotel. Also the evening meal food and service was superb as was the breakfast will be back ASAP. Kind regards Robert & Jane

I was booked into this hotel with work, which involves driving a HGV, not ideal for the location but the manager was actually out the front on my arrival and advised where best to park. From check-in to leaving all staff were amazing. Very welcoming and couldn't do enough. Food was amazing I had stake and the waitress and bar staff couldn't do enough for me.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Only reason for 4 star location was the issue with my parking other than that brilliant all round. Only stayed 1 night but fantastic service from all on the 23.05.22

We booked at very very short notice after being let down by a hotel which was booked way in advance. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome, in fact all the staff were friendly and ready to help. We stayed for two nights over the Easter weekend, my husband had booked a driving day at Millbrook Proving ground, so had to leave early, we were told about the Grab & Go breakfast, so we both opted for this, I have to say that it was probably the best "take out" breakfast we have ever had!

The evening food was excellent too. I have to mention Dee the Food and Drinks Manager, she went above and beyond to look after us. I would have given a 5* but the hotel decor and bedrooms looked a little dated and in need of a little tlc. But over all the room was clean and of a good size. Just a little updating and this place will be a little gem.

Lovely hotel in a lovely setting, there is ample on site parking facilities, if you can you should check in online before arrival otherwise you will have to do it when you arrive it's not a complicated form just something to be aware of. The room I stayed in (15) is spacious as is the bathroom, the food is good and priced as any other hotel.

We received a very warm welcome from the reception on arrival. This continued throughout our stay. Staff were very intentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fresh and plenty of it. Christmas Dinner was amazing and made our first Christmas away as good as we wanted it to be. In the bar Luke's service was outstanding and the best we have had at a best western. The service in restaurant by Ornella was equally outstanding. We would be more than happy to recommend Moore Place Hotel Aspley Guise to family and friends.

Just returned after a nights stay here following a long day of travel each way. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking with wide spaces which is a massive plus point. I was greeted with a smile and checked in quickly. Room was clean and tidy . The bar staff were friendly and helpful and the food at both evening meal and breakfast was tasty and hot.

I would say that a lot of the positivity was down to one of the staff in particular named Dee, she was great, full of laughter and really made me feel welcome. Thanks again for a great stay Andrew Woods

It's the second time we have stayed here. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had an upgrade offer to a four poster room and really glad we took it, lots more space in the room and the bed ws really comfortable. Lots to chose from for breakfast. Food was hot and very nice. No cheap sausages. The hotel is starting to look a bit tired but with some time and care it could be back to its former glory. Will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended.
