Since 16th Century, The Old George Inn in Stony Stratford has welcomed visitors, diners and those seeking hotel accommodation. And, whilst times and customs have changed, we still believe in quality food, friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. The food was excellent both the evening meal in the bar and breakfast.

Myself and my wife are both visually impaired and stayed in one of the rooms at the back of the hotel everything in the room was nice and clean lovely and warm and the staff very helpful as I run my own small business mk vinyl 2 cd I had taken a couple of days off to visit my brother the location was ideal for the local bus service into Milton Keynes and the railway station which was a real plus as both myself and my wife do not drive would happily visit again

Very nice pub and excellent located. Only problem I had was parking space. Pub open all day but food served between 12 and 19. Next to pub is costa coffee or shop or within 2 min walk other place where you cam eat breakfast. I am very happy cuand definitely want go back. Value for money and room was great. Dinner was delicious and very friendly staff.

Great pub, good atmosphere with live music on the Saturday evenings. Staff were great with a good sense of humour. A couple of minor things I didn't think were good was the window in the door that had no blind not leaving much privacy and very light in the morning. Plus the gap between the door and the frame made it draughty although the heating was good.

We have stayed for a few days. The staff are very helpful, kind and accommodating. The rooms are very pleasant, clean and relaxing. I would fully recommend this hotel for overnight or longer bookings. Stony Stratford is a quaint little village in itself with very helpful people, it also has easy access to visits to other parts of the area. I would like to personally thank all the staff for their help and kindness.
