I didn't get to stay in the end, but my experience with the staff (maybe owner) of this place was absolutely phenomenal every time I called and spoke to him. Friendly, helpful, kind and welcoming even when I was asking 100 hundred questions whilst trying to book for someone else. I will be recommending this place to everyone coming to Exeter! Reasonable prices, breakfast AND pet friendly with a great location within Exeter.

My Husband and I booked a stay for a family Wedding and were thoroughly impressed. It is beautifully decorated with plenty of character and the rooms very clean and well equipped, the staff were very attentive and friendly we thoroughly enjoyed the most delicious breakfast each day. We would definitely visit again and cannot recommend more highly this wonderful place!

I couldn't believe the wonderful location of my room in this hotel. My room looked out onto a wooden platform (where I could have sat if it had ever stopped raining) and then over rolling hills and the countryside. The room was small but lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the tv had a decent number of channels for the short time I would be spending in the room.
The location of the hotel itself is really good, near the Exeter St Davids station and not too far from the city centre. Breakfast was ok. I don't really like English breakfasts so I had to ask for certain things to be left off which they didn't always get right. The worst thing about my stay was the light coloured curtains. It was impossible to avoid the early morning sun pouring into the room and waking me up before 7am (fine on any other day, but not on holiday). The staff were friendly and If I come back to Exeter I might well stay here again.
