Nice venue, car park needs some attention and some if the decor is a little dated. Update: May 2022. Not much has changed. Car park is still uneven and the decor in the hotel is still in need of updating

It looks like the place has closed down now I walk the dogs past the place every night and it looks derelict I am surprised the website is still up there are posts on fb it's being knocked down and houses built on it good job as it's an eyesore now.

The worst hotel that I have ever stayed in Where do I start? Mattress sagged in middle Only one light working Very slippy bath/shower No room cleaning due to covid! (Clearly doesn't want to pay staff) Dreadful coffee Shabby interiors Grotty exteriors Mushroom arancini had one slice of mushroom Rosti was burnt black Vegetables were over cooked by 10 mins at least The only positive was the breakfast waiting staff Avoid avoid avoid

We loved the original building from 1890's. TLC would help wooden area's by painting. Very pleased with the size of room to price. Good breakfast & evening meals. Helpful staff. Lovely garden.

Building dated reminded me of fawlty towers!,r oom adequate, hallway smelt damp, shower room a bit shabby. Bed was comfy, evening meal was awful, cooked breakfast was edible but eaten much better for less. Staff were welcoming and friendly especially Debra who was very helpful. Lovely grounds if you want to sleep in the garden. Would I come here again that's a no from me. Basiiiiil!
