We have just returned from our latest visit to the Royson and enjoyed it as much as ever. Sharon & Nigel are so welcoming and friendly, the rooms are spotless and contain tea, coffee, hot choc biscuits and squash. The breakfast choices are varied, everything we had was well prepared, presented and tasty, the fresh fruit was a really great mix of fruits. I am sure we will return next time we visit the IOW. Thanks for a lovely restful break.

Decent place, but would advise a car and definitely book restaurantes before you go to the island. Some places have bookings for 10 days. B&b is clean. Serves the purpose with a super big bed and comfy pillows. The hosts are very friendly but they will leave to do your thing. Food is homemade. British menu for breakfast. Decoration is pleasant. Rooms have an ok size.

What a beautiful B&B and owners. I made a mistake with dates and we managed to turn up a day early! Sharon and Nigel went out of their way to accommodate us and we did manage to laugh about the whole situation! The room was immaculate and provided everything we would need for our stay. Breakfast needs to be preordered the night before as everything is bought in fresh and reduces wastage, which wasn't an issue for us.
Perfectly cooked full English every day but there was so much other choice also. Beach towels are provided if you wish to borrow them. Also you can borrow body boards to take down to the sea. They are very knowledgeable about the Island and happy to pass on info. Location wise. The Royson is a great base for sightseeing but if you struggle with hills then a car would be an advantage as the coastal walks along the cliff top are quite steep and getting down to the sea front is fine but getting back can be strenuous.
The place has off street parking, which is a bonus. We were staying there before and after "freedom day" and felt very covid safe. I would highly recommend this establishment and couldn't have asked for better hosts. Our holiday could have turned out very differently with my faux pas! Thank you Sharon and Nigel. We will see you ASAP! Xx

I would give more than 5 if I could. Sharon and Nigel are very friendly and make you feel at The Royson's that you are at home. We absolutely love this place. The house is clean, very nicely decorated. The breakfast is delicious, plentiful you can choose from about 20 different kinds of dishes and all sorts of morning drinks. We highly recommend this lovely place for families, couples. for everybody.

Shiver me timbers. A nautical theme runs through this cosy establishment. A friendly welcome was received by Nigel and Sharon on arrival. Our room was compact and bijou but had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfasts were served quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again if we returned to the area. Thanks.
