Yesterday we stayed the night after celebrating a friends wedding. The Chase did not disappoint! A warm welcome, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and extremely accommodating and friendly. Lesley the hotel manager is a great presence with nothing being too much trouble. Camilla excelled in her wedding planning leaving everything perfect. All the staff we smart, polite and fun to be around.
My husband took our boys swimming which was also very clean and easily accessible. Beds extremely comfortable and decorated very well. We may only live 10 miles away but would most definitely stay here again. The chase is the place 100%

Its run down and dated and missing character I was hoping to see. Bathroom is more modern and was mostly clean, towels are good size and keeping them warm is a nice touch. Room is cold, but electric heater is available in room. Head rest on both beds have sweat mark and are generally not something to touch. Great to have pool available to all guest, but pool itself is dirty, with dirty tiles and dirty changing rooms, showers. see pictures.

I'm not sure why, but I was expecting better, the hotel room was clean, reasonably well appointed and comfortable. I was only there overnight and dined out so I can't comment on the food. WiFi was very fast which made a pleasant change and the staff very engaging. Down sides were really cheap loo roll and no car charging points.
