Spent a night here because it was the only affordable hotel at the time of booking. Was dreading it because of the reviews, but my were they all wrong! Bed, shower and room were extremely clean to a high standard. Parking is free! I'll be staying here again when my football team play Reading.

I went in to the hotel to be greeted by a rude man with no neck, it was awful. The place looked dodgy but we thought nothing of it until we got to our room and found a bird poo on our bed! It was huge. When we left shortly after to get our money back we realised the owner had 4 toes which I was horrified to see. Awful Service.

I've never been in a place so badly run as this place. The staff are arrogant and lazy. I wouldn't even let a dog stay there.

This place is nothing like the hotel described by their website - the author of the site has clearly never stayed there! "Tranquility", "personal attention" & "friendly atmosphere" sadly are not the qualities reflected in reality. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, staff speak very poor English and were extremely rowdy and noisy. The only real plus was the free parking.
