Went there for a wedding reception. A very nice and clean place. The gardens are lovely. Too few bar staff but I have the patience to wait so all was OK.

The hotel is not what I would call 4*. When we arrived I asked if the bar was open and was told no, not til 5pm, but then I saw others drinking and found the bar was open. The restaurant wasn't open as there was an event on. The grounds are tired, the water feature didn't look like anything on the picture, the water was filthy. The lift was broken and we were on the top floor, room 50.

When we walked in, my husband walked through a cobweb. In the bathroom, there was a dead moth in the bath. The bathroom was very tired, lots of limescale and mucky taps. During the night, a spider landed on my husbands face, we woke up to find 4 spiders on the ceiling. Definitely over priced wouldn't have minded if it was half the price.

Went to a friends wedding and was amazing couple let downs rooms where not high standard was nice clean but tad shabby Food was good but my god prices on drinks where shocking (crippling even) yeah wasn't impressed but place was lovely had great time staff brilliant just bit updating the bedrooms (which should be easily down on the profits from the drinks) but would still recommend

A bit tired but perfectly adequate for our needs. The bonus is the free plentiful parking. Hotels closer to or servicing Heathrow often charge extra for parking and often every time you go in and out you are charged, which can really put a dent in the wallet.

We had our Christmas lunch at Pinewood, it was excellent - especially given there were approx 10 of us. Delicious festive lunch which met all our expectations, including an "excellent" rating from 11 year old grandson. The staff was lovely and helpfull

Was staying here atleast 3 times a year for about 4 years running but sadly it went down hill, the rooms look very sorry for themselves, they desperately need to be refurbished and have a good clean. One time we went it completely put us off because our room was covered in ants, told reception, was told it will be cleaned and sorted out, we went back for our anniversary a month later and there were still ants all in the same room! Very gutted, this hotel used to be really nice to stay in. food is nice though.

This score is being generous. I booked to stay for the night in the executive suite, from the outside hotel looks stunning until you enter the room. Absolutely horrendous wallpaper coming away from walls, broken furniture, was offered another room which was just as bad. Immediately asked for a refund and left hotel. Sad to say this place is in major need of a refurb. I want comfort and clean when staying anywhere this was dreadful.

I have been staying here this week while on a business trip. This is my first trip to Europe/the United Kingdom, so I do not have a great basis to compare against other hotels in the country. However, for a first-timer, the Pinewood is definitely someplace that has been worth the stay. The hotel staff are pleasant, helpful, and are far more service oriented than what I am used to in the United States.

Whatever we have needed, they have just taken care of it and made it seamless to meet our needs. As far as features go, my companions from the States have all been a little surprised at the size of the rooms. I came over expecting smaller rooms than what we are used to in the States, so it was not a shock for me. I find the room size and amenities reasonable based on the expectations I had coming in.

I have found it inconvenient to find sufficient power outlets for my charging needs though. The best part about the Pinewood has been the food. The on-site restaurant has served up delicious food each time we have eaten there. I have particularly enjoyed a Full English Breakfast or an omelet, and the fresh fruit on the buffet.
