Stayed over last weekend after my son's wedding at this hotel. Room superb, breakfast even better. Vey friendly and accommodating staff and particularly Franco and his team who deserve a 10 star! The wedding meal for 80 was served hot and plenty of food. The outside garden area well stocked with comfy furniture and bar to cater for us all. Would highly recommend for wedding or just pop in for a drink and some food.

Had a wedding to attend and had a very nice secluded event. Alcohol was a bit pricey but expected. A very nice place

No aircon however they supplied a tower fan. I asked about an evening meal and was treated so poorly I walked off to the nearest spoons (that bad!). Glad I did as the breakfast was awful. Tough smoked fish and raw poached eggs.will stop here again and give them one more try as the building itself and bar service in the evening was fantastic.

Wonderful little walled garden full of interesting people, herbs, plants. So nice that everyone says hello to you as you walk around.

Very polite friendly and accommodating staff helped us with our unexpected stay after our car broke down on a work trip. We got the last room available and our stay was so nice that we will be returning on a more planned visit

The garden area outside is a nice surprise. The interior is a step back in time and could do with a refurb as a bit tired. Good location.

Having recently needed hotel accommodation close to the hospital I stumbled across this hotel. It is a little hidden gem. When you see it sitting on the side of a main road you might have misgivings however as soon as you go inside you are greeted by the most friendly staff. I booked a deluxe room and I was pleasantly surprised at the standard. They had everything you might want, and nothing was too much trouble. I only wish I had found this little gem a few weeks ago when I stayed at a different hotel, not much difference but 3 times the price. I would highly recommend.

We hired the Catherine suite for a birthday celebration during the Christmas break 2021. Due to covid the date had to be changed. The events team Paul & Kylie were very understanding and made a very stressful situation easy. The whole occassion was amazing. I had 29 guests for a 3 course meal, everyone commented on how lovely the food was and how friendly, professional & helpful the staff were.

Especially Kirsty & Marco who went above & beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Marco was very attentive to all our needs, taking special care with a Gluten free guest. Thank you. We also had a number of rooms that were clean and comfortable. Some of my guests from London even said they might consider Christmas lunch. Thanks for helping make my 50th birthday celebration special. Lisa

We just needed to get away for a weekend but within a 45 min drive from home. the Old Palace Lodge Hotel was perfect. A bit run down in appearance from the outside but inside was lovely. Our Deluxe room was perfect. Immaculately clean. Well presented in a contemporary style. Very well equipped. Stunning en suite and good quality toiletries. Outstanding restaurant, superb quality and standard food.

Breakfast was 9/10. The walled garden was wonderful with plenty of seating and different zones to relax in. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. As for cleanliness i can honestly say our room was immaculate! Worth every penny and we would highly recommend staying here if ever you need to be close to Dunstable. We had the most enjoyable weekend
