Went for a meal here and the service was terrible. Only seemed to be 3 people working. After being served our initial drink no one came to see if we wanted another, food took ages to arrive despite them not being busy and when it did arrive they forgot to cook one of our meals. Waitress told us she had resigned that day. Not well run at all and won't be returning.

Not been here since the late 1980s when we used to call in for a drink after caving. Enjoyed a nice mid-week lunch. The food is good and a well kept selection of regional real ales at the bar. Unfortunately the comfortable country Inn atmosphere has been ripped out of this historic Inn, in favor of a bar more suited to a holiday park entertainments venue, but I guess that's what's needed on busy weekends.

Booked a table tonight Sat 30th April for 2 people. Had a table in another pub in Ingleton but not the best. The girl I spoke to confirmed we could have a table in 15mins. Left aforementioned pub and walked to the Marton only to be told they had no recollection of our booking and no table availability. Very disappointed. We were hoping to have Sunday lunch there but will find another establishment.

Room was lovey, bed comfortable and working telly, bathroom and shower was basic and not that warm however it wasn't a issue at all, restaurant/bar is lovely, looks great and is a nice environment. Food was great! Even vegetarian options was good. Service was amazing, very friendly and attentive staff! Lovely stay!

Love this place. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I've had. Had evening meal of steak and ale pie which was lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere. Only downside, the rooms need updating but are clean and comfortable, doesn't stop us wanting to return. Thank you
