Went for a meal here and the service was terrible. Only seemed to be 3 people working. After being served our initial drink no one came to see if we wanted another, food took ages to arrive despite them not being busy and when it did arrive they forgot to cook one of our meals. Waitress told us she had resigned that day. Not well run at all and won't be returning.

A quaint old fashioned place but rooms nice and clean with a very comfy bed. Staff all lovely - they really couldn't do enough for us. Food in the restaurant was great. Good base for walks - would recommend

Very warm welcome from Simon, which lasted throughout our stay, with staff friendly and very accommodating. Food excellent, rooms very comfortable, great peaceful rural location. Would highly recommend.

Had a little walk over to this pub and glad we did! Drinks were reasonably priced with a good selection of local ales, and staff were welcoming. Dogs are welcome and treated just as well as guests.

Food was disappointing we ordered Cumberland sausage and mash. The mash was lumpy and the sausage hardly browned. Overly priced at 15 for 3 sausages and 3 tablespoons of mash. The place itself is pleasant, the staff were nice, it had disabled access and dogs are welcome just a shame about the food.

Not been here since the late 1980s when we used to call in for a drink after caving. Enjoyed a nice mid-week lunch. The food is good and a well kept selection of regional real ales at the bar. Unfortunately the comfortable country Inn atmosphere has been ripped out of this historic Inn, in favor of a bar more suited to a holiday park entertainments venue, but I guess that's what's needed on busy weekends.

Heather, Simon and the team welcomed us as a group of 50 tired, broken walkers having just completed the 3 peaks challenge. Excellent service, great food and incredibly well organised. Thank you so much for facilitating such a large group so smoothly, we all really enjoyed our visit!

Booked a table tonight Sat 30th April for 2 people. Had a table in another pub in Ingleton but not the best. The girl I spoke to confirmed we could have a table in 15mins. Left aforementioned pub and walked to the Marton only to be told they had no recollection of our booking and no table availability. Very disappointed. We were hoping to have Sunday lunch there but will find another establishment.

Room was lovey, bed comfortable and working telly, bathroom and shower was basic and not that warm however it wasn't a issue at all, restaurant/bar is lovely, looks great and is a nice environment. Food was great! Even vegetarian options was good. Service was amazing, very friendly and attentive staff! Lovely stay!

Love this place. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I've had. Had evening meal of steak and ale pie which was lovely. Very relaxed atmosphere. Only downside, the rooms need updating but are clean and comfortable, doesn't stop us wanting to return. Thank you

Lovely meal with excellent service. The Marton Arms is an iconic old building with super thick walls (a legacy of when it was built, 1679) and very atmospheric. Recently renovated without spoiling the feel of the place. Recommended by my brother and now I know why.

Stayed one night here. Had a superb dinner for extremely good value. The breakfast was generous and delish too. However, hope the future renovations will include the rooms as those desperately need upgrading!

Fantastic service. The team went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. After completing the 3 peak challenge, we arrived at the hotel at around 7pm to check in but forgot to book a table in the restaurant. It was already fully booked however Michael managed to squeeze us in.
