Loved lying on my bed listening to the waves and watching the sea. This is a really nice hotel in a fantastic place. Breakfast good. Much better value than the Premier Inn (I've been there a few times). The girl on reception with the facial piercing is brilliant. (sorry I didn't catch the name) excellent customer service. Free parking too.

Lost our booking.com booking! Despite conformation emails being sent, the booking hadn't been copied from booking.com into the hotels own system. Hense - no room. Fortunately another booking.com booking had already gone wrong that day. The people hadn't taken the room they had booked. This meant there was a room available for us. Wow! Room had a sea view.
The weather was good, so opening the window and sitting looking out was awesome. The room would have been better described as "with a sea view". It was described as "deluxe". It was not.

Booked an accessible room with an extra bedroom attached. This is on the first floor, and a long walk from the lift. The bedrooms were tired and dated and the electric bed which came as a surprise sat you up then threw you back down again. Stunning view of the sea. Restaurant and bar all very up to date so the accommodation came as a disappointment.
Small car park to the rear. Staff friendly but if it hadn't been for my able bodied husband with me I would of struggled. This is an old building so I suppose it was to be expected.

Went here for sunday carvery pre covid and food was fantastic This time we went 17/4/22 it was not as good for few reasons. 1. The coliflower cheese was burnt on top, the cheese on it was more like milk, runny and water downed, nothing like a cheese sauce. 2. Out of party of 4, 1 was still eating and took everything of the table, the vegetables, the gravy and got told oh we not trying to rush you.
Then wait till all 4 of us had finished eating. 3. The price of it 25 for 2 coruse, me personally i never ever eat a pudding and was no option to have 1 coruse. Over all was not up to the price had to pay.

Very bland in the dining area where we had breakfast and where we dined on first night. Room was "all right" (and the food was "all right") but dated as were dining areas. Having previously owned and run a 4 star Guest House which was rated 4.7 by Booking.com and Tripadvisor we were disappointed after upgrading to sea view room although it was a good view of the sea front. Staff were pleasant enough.

The reception & bar area looked quite nice & staff were friendly but was disappointed with our over priced room it was very basic. Check in time is very late 16.00 and Dept early at 10.00. Loud music was playing until the early hours. The car park is small so at times difficult to find a space. The hotel is perfectly situated on the seafront but unfortunately even that wouldn't entice me to stay here again.
