Nothing wrong with the hotel but could be better. Positives: friendly staff, nice building / courtyard, good location. Negatives: nowhere charging over 170 / night for a room should serve canned mandarin segments at breakfast. We also booked a room with a view which as the room was on the ground floor was quite restricted and if a car had parked in front of our window we wouldn't have had a view.

We stayed at the Blakney manor Hotel as part of a trip to spread my late fathers ashes. I have to say the stay here was excellent. The staff were superb. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. You could here people above you walking in the courtyard rooms but not being a light sleeper this was not a problem. We went for the package that includes breakfast and dinner. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Restaurant staff were great. Great value for money all in all.

I'm giving this a 5 star rating simply due to the fact the hotel has been acquired by a new owner and there is potential of this hotel being a FANTASTIC hotel especially given its location and the chefs and their kitchen staff! Their food is amazing I love it but I wish I just didn't see THAT family(Adams family) running the hotel. Best wishes to the new owners and we welcome you to blakeney.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. A dog friendly room was clean and comfortable but quite basic. No proper shower is disappointing. The bar where one has to eat if taking a dog is brown and dull and not at all a place to spend much time. The service was good and two main courses were very enjoyable, the starter and dessert less so. Not sure I'd want to spend more than one night.
