Went to Spa, had a gift voucher. Had an Indian massage and a few face treatments. In general was an average service nothing amazing. The space inside needs more commodities for users and possible small perks for customers. The technician more interaction and more attention to detail and customer. I understand they could be busy but that hour is paid by me.

Also employees speaking outside near the door while the customer is trying to relax not the best practise. Treatment done in my face all product was left in my eyelashes, the technician at least could warn me about it! Not an amazing service was expecting way more.

The rooms, staff and location were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and spa facilities were excellent. Clean and well maintained. The only thing that let them down was the quality of the bar/ restaurant food. It was overpriced and poor quality. The breakfast was really good.

All staff were polite and the room was lovely. At breakfast I asked if there was lactose free milk, which there was, which is unique because places I've stayed before don't so that was refreshing. When checking out the gentleman asked if I enjoyed my stay. I didn't want to leave. A lovely night away. I will most certainally be back.

The rooms are very dated and the room did not smell very nice.stale and very well used.furniture needs replacing or refurbishing. On the plus side the staff were very very polite friendly and proffesional. The steak we had in the restaurant was very good.tender great flavour and the waitress was very pleasant.

Lovely night away, food was nice, cocktails by the barman were fab (he was teaching up some of the less experienced staff who didn't know how to make them). Pool, sauna and steam room nice, changing facilities a bit dated as was the room. Couldn't fault the staff, very helpful and went above and beyond to offer cushions on outside chairs and to bring drinks out etc. Would come again.

We visited here to use the spa so can't rate the rooms but wow! Wow, wow, wow this place is beautiful and in such an awesome setting with stunning views. The spa is small but lovely with pool, hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi. There is also a gym. The facilities throughout were great and the outdoor seating area is in the perfect position to have a drink and enjoy the views! Plenty of free parking too. Always a plus. Love this place and highly recommend a visit!

Very quiet and nice decorative place, staffs are warm smiling. We found one broken furniture in the room, and the receptionist change another room immediately. The food is not that perfect in my feeling, the steak was too dry. The entertainment was impressive. My kids love their swimming pool.

Pool area good, helpful staff. Spa building staff professional, had a lovely massage. Cream tea was good, but liaison between spa booking and afternoon tea booking system meant I was asked to pay for tea twice. Fortunately resolved very politely, but the two buildings and sets of staff don't seem to liaise effectively.

I have eaten a few times in Carrie's Bar and honestly the staff cannot do enough to accommodate you. They are great, very polite and friendly, and always go out of their way for any special requests! I cannot recommend this place enough - especially the afternoon tea which is a great price and very filling! I also had my first massage in the spa and Natalie was fantastic. I would give more stars if I could!

I love this hotel, which has actually tuned me into Best Westerns at most of my travels. The breakfast here is always fresh and has a lot of variety. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are beautiful. My only complaint is that the bar is too expensive for cheap beer. Don't expect four star accommodations, but expect four star service. Please do yourself a favor and go to the Heart in Hand down the street for a pint.

What a wonderful surprise. This is a Best Western Hotel (posh type of BW though). They have a Spanish charcoal oven for the steaks and what a difference that makes. Obviously the meat needs to be good, it is, but cooking in this way just elevates a good steak to an excellent steak. Anyway, starters was a modern take on a prawns cocktail; fresh and mighty fine. I've never had a few large battered prawns nestling on top of a standard prawn cocktail but it works!

The main course was an 8oz rib steak (plenty big enough; I tried the 10oz sirloin but it's too lean) with chunky chips and a fiery pepper sauce. Mushrooms and tomatoes are also there. I can't offer any negative points. Really top notch food. The house wine is also good enough. It's worth a go!
