Our Story Report

Former owner of the Lyndale Hotel of 28 years. He brought a friendly and welcoming environment to travellers and families in North Wales. Over the years he has also provided events & functions, casual dining and the qualities of a communal hub for the area. The hotel is now being managed by the rest of the Kirkbride family, whose goal is to continue on what Michael has achieved with the Lyndale.

30 miles from the historic city of Chester on the beautiful North Wales coast. The Lyndale Hotel is in easy reach of all major tourist attractions including Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey, Llandudno, Conwy and Caernarfon. There is just so much to see and do! A classic British seaside resort, with a delightful seafront, a traditional pier, and long beaches.

The hotel was clean but in need of updating.some areas of the floor were creaking everytime someone walked on them and you could hear everything in the rooms adjacent. It would be ideal if you needed a base whilst working. But for us I wouldn't stay for a break.the people were lovely and polite.this is a honest reflection

We stayed for bed/breakfast! accommodation was very good/clean, breakfast was amazing! (Very filling) made our dog 'Peggy' feel very welcome! Owner & staff are very nice, polite, helpful & Relaxed Just want you want, 5* Perfect!

As you walk in you would think the decor is dated (70's 80's) don't let this put you off, the food is fantastic a proper taste of Thailand and the prices are low 82 for four people with drinks in my opinion very good

We had a room with a nice view overlooking the sea in the distance. Hotel looks as it hasnt been refurbished for a while but the price was lower than other hotels in the area. The hotel offers Thai cuisine during dinner time. It's a good call to order if you like spicy and tasty Asian meals.

Great place to chill out while in Colwyn Bay. Lovely family run hotel with great scenery around and lots of personal touch to service delivery and the beach is less than 3 mins walk.
