The Management at the Livermead would like to still protect our guests and staff and so are asking that whilst indoors masks will be politely requested to still be worn. For a weekend away, a break by the sea, a romantic escape or a family holiday, a trip to Livermead House is a return to the golden age of tourism. A time of hotels with character where dinner was served and guests were entertained in style. Our passion for hospitality ensures beautifully run events, weddings and celebrations. Perhaps we can tempt you to the classic Devon Cream Tea or maybe a glass of fine wine?

We went for afternoon tea today, well what can I say, excellent from start to finish, the staff are exceptional and we have been to alot of hotels in the bay and a far for afternoon tea and this is the best. We have finally found the place which has it all. If your looking for a 5 star service then look no further the staff can't do enough for you.

Very helpful staff, rooms are well attended to by staff in the mornings, if asked for they will get you a duvet. Food is very good lots of choices, either from the menu or the set meals. Freshly cooked, waiting staff are very helpful, not in your face but around if needed. I will definitely be back again soon.

I am sat here having a cream tea with my extended family for my grandfather's 80th birthday. We are enjoying the views across the bay and the excellent service and food. I cannot praise this place highly enough. The food is wonderful and the scones have been freshly baked. The serving staff are polite, courteous and have even gone above and beyond with helping keep keep the kids entertained. Lovely building, beautiful views. Great place.
