Services
The village is surrounded by open countryside which offer some great walks, particularly the one to Wittenham Clumps. This is an area managed by Earthtrust who in partnership with the Environment Agency are creating a Wetland & Wildlife area of 2 kilometres called River of Life Project. If you're brave enough to climb the clumps the panoramic view is of Oxford and The Berkshire Downs are fantastic.
Our Car Park is opposite the main entrance to the building on wharf road and is approximately 15 metres in distance. The car park is predominantly flat, though we would advise that guests be observant to the rainwater channels and smalls holes that are in varying locations. There are no marked bays; therefore guests are requested to park their vehicles in an orderly manor allowing other guests ease of access. If you require low level access, the pavement to the right side of the main entrance is suitable.

Stayed on business. Exceptionally good hotel. The bed is just the right amount of soft/hard with proper supportive pillows. Plenty of hot water and soap. There is a tiny amount of road noise but it didn't bother me. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with an exceptionally good omelette. Coffee is very drinkable too. Staff can actually hold a conversation which is a nice surprise. I will definitely request same hotel for future work visits.

This hotel is clean and respectable. It is good value for money, efficient and friendly staff, and a very good breakfast. Stayed here on business trip, and would do so again.

Friendly local pub with an open fireplace in winter and the village green, in summer. The local beers are nice but the food menu could be better. Not a bad choice though, by any means.
