This was our 3rd mini stay at the lodges. We booked lodge 14 as this was what we previously had, and it has a open, sunny view of the lake. Our dates were jiggled by one of the staff in order to get this particular lodge. On arrival, we were told that we had been allocated lodge 9. We explained that we had booked 14, but we were told it wasn't available. Lodge 9 turned out to be a lodge in the shadow of a large tree, blocking the sun.
The inside was very clean.no complaints there. But outside, the decking and railings were in dire need of a power hose.being dirty and stained with grime. Old leaves were compacted around the edges. The round glass table was so encrusted with old mildew around the perimeter, we felt we couldn't eat from it in that state, and we cleaned both sides of the glass.
The seats were dirty from compacted dead leaves which had evidently been lying there for some time. This 2 day break was a birthday treat from my son. Having to arrive after 4pm on day 1, and leave before 11am on day 3 means that you really only get one full day at the lodge. At 560 it was an expensive break. We are so disappointed at the decline since our last visit. What went wrong? ad been allocated lodged with 9

Wonderful lakeside location. Exceptionally well maintained and clean inc windows and curtains.in fact cleanliness runs througout hotel. Pedestal fans in room for warm days. Note: No daily maid service. Would like to see genuine sea food on menu. Special mention for friendliness of breakfast room staff. You will enjoy your stay at this well managed hotel

We stayed 2 nights recently & My only complaint is that the Room was not serviced! We left the room in the morning to go to a family funeral; I had left the window open to air the room; when we came back that evening at 8pm the room was very cold & miserable with an unmade bed; no dry towels; no clean cups or water! When I spoke to a staff member I was told they don't service because of Covid.
I don't understand the rationale of that as the bar, restaurant & lobby were packed full of people & no one wearing masks! I honestly think that they are using the pandemic as an excuse to avoid having to pay the cleaners! We travel quite a bit & all other hotels are back to cleaning their rooms for months since most people are vaccinated & restrictions have all been lifted!

Went for food at 4-30pm on Sunday Stood for a long time before a lady checked to get someone to check if there was a table. The lounge was very quiet and she came back to say the staff were busy and no tables were available. We could clearly see at least twenty free tables and this is a hotel that's obviously not interested in any good customer service

Brilliant hotel, very modern and classic. Room fab, comfy and very large with views over Lough Erne. Food excellent, staff friendly, helpful and polite. Pool area superb and had lovely visit to the SPA for a back massage. Only negative comment, bizarrely the Elemis SPA had no smell. Would have been nice.

Had a lovely time at the Killyhevlin. Food was good. Hotel itself needs a little TLC. New sofas and decor would really refresh the place. Lovely views of the lake and the spa was lovely. Was disappointed there's no where really to sit and have a drink other than the lobby or a corridor far away from the bar.

Such a beautiful place to stay. We got a special deal Sunday and Monday with breakfast and our room had a gorgeous double bed and single bed and looked onto the main road. We had heard the carvery on the Sunday was worth trying so we did and it was very impressive. It was actually very busy so we knew they must be doing something right. The food was really good and we think we'll try the pub grub in the hotel too.

Just spent 3 nights /4 days at the killyhevlin Hotel with my wife and elderly In Laws, a superb stay. Rooms are very well appointed, immaculate, comfortable and quite spacious. The hotel has excellent leisure seating overlooking the Lough. The food is excellent and big portions. However it is the staff that make the experience so nice. they are well mannered attentive and very accommodating, going that extra mile to please the guest. I and my family will be back soon.

Just back from a 2 night stay to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday. Hotel setting is beautiful, food was great and restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful. However, the rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment - carpets and curtains stained. Also there was no soap in our room. I was told that they were completely out of soap and I could wash my hands with shower gel.
After asking 4 different members of staff at reception I eventually received some soap 24 hours later. Not good for a 4 star hotel. Not sure that I would stay here again - overpriced for what you get.

Great location looking over the river. You can sit and relax and enjoy your meal and watch the activity on the water. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good. Just wish there was a little more of a choice. But would definitely recommend it for a meal. Staying in the hotel and trying out the spa is definitely on my bucket list.

My whole family of nineteen less three decamped to Killyhevlin last night to celebrate my fathers 70th at the Kove Restaurant at Killyhevlin. We had a wonderful meal (my scallops were perfect, but my venison shank was dry and tough!, Brie was great as was the duck, chicken and lamb. The kids carbonnara was a tad bland and risotto bit too creamy, everything else was amazing!).
The service was second to none and the staff are a real asset. What a fab way to commemorate a milestone for our father! We had to come back home, but all the others stayed the night and rooms of course were luxurious!
