Judged on its location, price, facility, and the service in providing the facility, it would be difficult to find better. On premise parking can be a lottery but given its wonderful location this would apply to all hotels in the area, however, I have managed on all three visits to park on site. Found the staff to be courteous and helpful which created a warm friendly atmosphere, no complaints with the food, the room was delightful, spacious and clean and the free use of the Mint Health Club is a wonderful bonus and unlike some hotels you can enjoy your swim in private without being overlooked. My wife and I intend to revisit and therefore can only give a positive thumbs up in our recommendation.

Good hotel, very clean, obviously very luxurious in its time. Restaurant good selection, breakfast quality very good. Staff good but lacking some customer attentiveness. Room cold, did speak to reception but were told, 'that's what the thermostat was set at', disappointing response. Would we stay again, on balance, yes.

We booked the Promenade Lounge for a private function on the Saturday night. A beautiful and elegant room on the ground floor so easy access. The staff provided a notice stand announcing our function which was a lovely touch and made it all the more special. The table was laid beautifully and the staff accommodated our own cake by providing a cake stand.
Menu was excellent and the prices very good. Food was beautiful. Serving staff were wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Wheelchair and mobility scooter were well received and accommodated with plenty of room to manoeuvre around. The bar area is very nice and elegant surroundings make it feel very intimate and yet accessible. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Overall a very enjoyable stay at the Imperial hotel Llandudno. Good size clean room with plenty of storage space. Good number of sockets for charging devices and hair dryers etc. Good sized bathroom with powerful shower over the bath. Pleased that robes and slippers were provided. Great view of the promenade, pier and sea from the room. The not so good experience was evening meal in the restaurant.
First nights meal took forever for staff to take orders and deliver the food. From what I could see there was plenty of young staff serving but a lack of supervision was the likely reason. Bar staff seemed inexperienced, struggling to serve cocktails not listed or charging for them. One other small annoyance was having to ask for extra milk pods in the room. In most cases two being needed for a hot drink and four provided restricted number of hot drinks. Reception staff were great.

We loved our stay here, at one of the Grand Old Ladies of the seafront. Lots of charm, super friendly staff, bedrooms very clean, lovely communal areas, excellent breakfast and the indoor pool and gym are a real bonus with 2 teenage boys, so pretty good bang for your buck. Not a bargain, but reasonably priced for Llandudno in the Easter holiday and a great location. The only negative is that some parts are looking quite tired, particularly the carpet which was worn on the stairs and had bald patches in the bedroom.

Visited for mother's day Afternoon Tea hadn't been for a while. Had been refurbished since we were there looked lovely. Good service and pleasant friendly staff. Received a mother's day gift which I thought was a nice gesture. Afternoon tea delicious had to take some home very generous portions boxed up ready for us when leaving.

Had a great stay. I have not stayed at the Imperial for over 10 Years but liked the look of it when I stayed elsewhere in January so booked for February for 3 Nights. Couldn't fault it from being made welcome by Ruth and another lady on reception. I had most of my meals sat in the window seats watching the sea and a big shout out to both Jodie and Nan for looking after me with their cheerfulness and humour, nothing was too much trouble also breakfast staff very efficient and welcoming thank you all will be back soon Steve x

My family party of 15 stayed for a 4 night break over the New Year, we have done this for the past 4 years. As per usual perfect, including the food. A well managed clean hotel with excellent polite staff, although there were certain restrictions it did not affect our break thanks to the way it was managed. Thank You to all the staff.

World class team, exceptional, friendly service, at an iconic UK holiday destination. The Imperial Hotel is unique, with charm like no other. I have visited numerous times and the room quality, cleanliness and even the food are always of extremely high standards. The guests return time and time again, Highly recommend, as you will no doubt become a loyal customer also!

The room was very spacious and clean. Wearing masks as required we entered reception and were greeted by hundreds of unmasked people squashed from wall to wall. Absolutely no room for residents to sit quietly. The party goers should have been placed in the bar or another room away from the reception area. Chaos! We ate in a large quiet restaurant area away from the chaos and the food was lovely with polite service. Shame about the lack of consideration for residents.

Stayed here recently for an overnight work trip. The hotel is in a lovely location right by the seafront and is a nice big old building. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces to the rear as well, which is an added benefit. My room was a reasonable size and very clean. It had the usual facilities such as tea and coffee, making, an iron, and TV. The room, however on arrival was extremely hot.
The radiator was almost too hot to touch and I had to turn this off straight away and open both of the windows and leave them open until the next morning, which is surprising in December. The staff in the hotel are all pleasant, polite and attentive. I wasn't as impressed with the evening meal. I ordered a starter from the festive menu which was very nice, however, for the main I had haddock and chips with mushy peas. Peas.
The batter for the fish was extremely greasy and overpowered the taste of the fish and unfortunately I could still taste grease about an hour after my meal. When taking my plate. Plate. They didn't take the opportunity to ask if everything was ok either. Breakfast was very good and efficient with a self-service hot buffet. The food was great quality, a good temperature and very tasty.
Breakfast is also served from 7:00 a.m. which is a benefit as I needed an early start that day. The downside with having an early start of the day is that I needed to check out of the hotel at 7:30am. Unfortunately, the reception staff don't start until then and therefore I had to wait for a little while before being able to settle my room bill and then leave.
It would be beneficial if the night porter staff are also able to do this. Overall a very nice hotel in a good location and with good facilities, however, I would consider eating elsewhere potentially in the future.

Nice hotel, great location on the sea front. Breakfast buffet style had a good selection of food, but everyone handling the same serving spoons. The bedroom was too hot, had the windows open all night in November. Pool 14m long & warm. Hotel residents have to go down ready in swimwear with dressing gown on & back to the room the same way, not great going about the hotel like that or in the lift, but not too far to our room 533 & managed to not see anyone. Changing area & showers are kept for members only.

Great location, very good room with a lovely view over the sea. very clean with lots of hand sanitiser available all over the hotel. Breakfast excellent, very good choice of both hot and cold dishes. Ate dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The food was very good but perhaps a bit more variety and choice could be offered. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. A very enjoyable stay - first away from home in nearly two years.

We had a pleasant stay, but found the hotel very expensive compared with others that are better. We had booked (and paid extra) for a sea view room, but found ourselves on the fifth floor in a room with small window panes, and a balcony with an obstructed view. This was disappointing, as was the need to book in advance to eat at the restaurant and the lack of bar food. We had dinner at the hotel one evening. The first and last courses looked great but tasted bland; the main course was a Sunday roast which was poor.

Our fourth-floor bedroom had all the facilities one would expect, although some of the corridors and stairways looked a little tired, and perhaps more lift provision is needed. Reception was efficient, without being overbearing. The restaurant was well-managed and the food mostly excellent. It was good to see the hotel generally well-staffed, and the younger less experienced members were managed very well.

Although we only had drinks in the front garden of this hotel, it was a nice place with good choice. The adults were happy with their various gins and local beers, and the menu had a surprising selection of juices and soft drinks for the kids. The staff was very friendly and even filled our water bottles with ice and tap water for us. The seafront view was lovely and the atmosphere of a beachside hotel was nice.

We stayed here for three nights in July whilst visiting North Wales. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and there was hot choclates and bottled water provided in the room along with the usual tea and coffee facilites. The pool and steam room were nice although I would have liked to have been able to get changed in the changing rooms down in the fitness centre rather than up in the room.
The breakfast was nice and the waiting staff and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The car park was full up all the time but it didn't really matter as parking on the street outside was free between 4pm and 10am.
