Huntingtower Hotel It can be easy to think that all banks are basically the same and therefore it does not really matter who you bank with because it will make no difference at all. However, this is something which you should investigate first as you may find that it is not the case. There could be quite a few differences between them. It is good to think about the cost of the banks as these will differ. When you are looking for a specific product, then comparing what the different banks are charging or offering can be very worthwhile.
Services
We decided that it was necessary for us to do something that will help people with their finances. We always like to help and we identified that at the moment this is an area that a lot of people need help with. Therefore, we tried to put together some information that we think will help as many people as we can.
If you want to make sure that your credit score is as good as possible, then you may wonder what might have the biggest impact on it. Obviously, you will want to then make any changes to that specific part and that will enable you to change your credit score to s abetter one. It all sounds very simple but there is a flaw.
There are lots of things that we buy because they offer good value for money and loans are perhaps something that we do not think about in these terms. However, it is a good idea to do this because you will find that you will be able to work out whether having the loan is a good idea or not. There are different things that you will need to think about when you are considering this.
It can often be the case that some people will always shave all of their finances with the same bank They may have a current account, mortgage, savings account, credit card and loans always form the same bank. Other people though, might have them with lots of different banks. It is a good idea to think about the pros and cons of each so that you can decide which might be the best approach for you. If you take out a new product, say a savings account, with a bank that you are already with, then it will be easier.

We stayed for one night, this is nice looking hotel. Breakfast was very nice, lovely dining room. Unfortunately we were given room 212, this must be the smallest room in the hotel. The room has seen better days. The view from the window is of the roof, kitchen extraction right outside the window, very noisy it runs from 6:45 am to 10 pm. Dirty carpet in the room. Nice hotel if a little down at heal, but don't stay in room 212

Stayed here for my sons wedding on Saturday! Cannot fault them, excellent wedding, food, rooms, staff all friendly and helpful. Cleaners? Waiters, bar, reception! Couldn't do enough for you! Special mention to Bryony for all the help with organising and to Abby at reception for all the help. This is a fabulous hotel

Loved our stay here. Very different from the usual town centre places. This is only minutes from the busiest parts of Perth, yet its secluded with lots of walks. Will come back.

Stayed for two nights, not a bad hotel if a little dated. It is in great location with nice walk along the river close by Some of the staff were clearly new and inexperienced but all were friendly. Bedrooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Cooked beakfast was nice but small. Had burger on the first evening but it was greasy and chips undercooked. Decided to eat out the second night.

Mentioned health restrictions (long covid) to reception at early checkin but were given a regular sized room (paid extra for larger room) at the top of a steep staircase with a second room with bunk beds off it?! The bedding was ripped, dog hairs around the bed, room wasn't serviced the next day, and when we spoke to reception the answer was, 'Maybe next time ask for a different room'. Wrote twice afterwards with neither acknowledgement or response. Disappointing.

Lovely area, vast gardens for a stroll with your dogs, and a lovely Riverside walk nearby. Dog friendly rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location in beautiful mature grounds. Dog friendly. The room was large with a sofa and table at a reasonable price. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.

Went with a few friends for dinner. Food is good although the portions are a bit small. We were still hungry after the main! The staff are lovely, service good but a bit overpriced. Nice hotel but in need of an update. Don't think we'll be back.

Staying here just now in room 407 and here until tomorrow. Lovely grounds, lovely staff and just everything we need to celebrate my partners birthday. I like the fact that we were asked to choose a time for breakfast. everyone must have chosen the same time though but despite the wait, the staff were smiling throughout and didn't feel too much of an inconvenience. we could definitely tell they were doing their best and that's all anyone can ask for. Now however we will go back to enjoying the rest of our stay

The twin room that I had was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, with plenty of choice. The location is ideal for visiting Perth and the surrounding area. Excellent value for money.

Boutique hotel, quintessentially Scottish, set in beautiful gardens. Efficient check in, exceptionally clean and lovely breakfast! What more would you need to set you up for the day?

On Saturday the 14th of August I attended a wedding reception at the Huntingtower Hotel, I was immediately greeted by a big queue at the bar and only one under pressure barman, when I eventually reached the bar it was so badly stocked I had to ask what they had because all the optics were empty, no flavoured gin, poor selection of the basics ie. cans of ordinary coke, what beer they had was flat and to cap it all it was card payment only, yes card only! Having stood there for ages the card reader went down, a total joke.

Anyway I thought they would start taking cash but no someone came up with some hair brained idea of taking your name and what you bought till they sorted it, sometime later it was announced it twas working again and could you go and pay (another wait in a queue) when it was my turn guess what? it went down again another wait, eventually it took my card and I asked for a receipt only to be told no receipt was available so I asked what I was paying for he didn't know, So as I write this review I've just checked my online banking and no payment has been deducted, your hotel must have lost a fortune, anyway even though the service was shocking, with a total lack of management I am willing to pay my bar tab, I will of course be paying with cash as we don't yet live in a cashless society, please contact me for my details.

The couple I feel sorry for are the bride and groom who deserved a lot better, this is not the first time this has happened here as I attended a Sunday wedding a few year ago and it was a shocker as well with much the same things, I hope you get recompensed with all the monies you must have lost due to dodgy card readers and not taking cash or the poor folk at the next wedding will have an even poorer choice of beers and spirits, If you want any advice Id make changes in your management someone who knows a bit about the hotel trade, train your staff, have enough staff on, then the barman would be able to stay serving behind the bar and not trying to mop the dance floor! I personally will never darken your doorstep again and I would recommend anyone tying the knot to give your hotel the widest berth!

Invest in some decent comfortable pillows. Please please please, invest in some air conditioning for the rooms. Lastly, if you are getting deliveries from suppliers at 6am, get them to be quieter. Lovely hotel with nice gardens but needs improvement in a lot of areas. As for the staff, 10/10 Couldn't meet nicer people.

Recently I attended 2 family events over 2 days at the Huntingtower. As the hotel seems to be quite popular and there were 2 weddings happening there (in addition to the events we were there for), we were unable to get rooms. So this review is merely for the dining and the events space. We had dinner one night and it was a set menu with a few nice choices at each course. Amongst our large party, we all seemed to enjoy the meal, but there wasn't anything particularly stand-out or remarkable.

Just nice. The big event was a ruby wedding celebration. It was a large-scale afternoon tea. The food was either quite good (the meringues and the eclairs) or just passable (the finger sandwiches). The service throughout the event was sub-par, with more than one of us never getting the drinks we ordered. A few people ordered from servers more than once and still never got a beverage!

The servers seemed few and far between and often would take car of half a table and than disappear without ever speaking to the rest of those seated. It was really odd. That being said, those who were there were at least friendly. The few children in attendance were catered to nicely and there was a nice air about the whole place. We were welcome to linger throughout the afternoon in the lobby with conversations and later in the bar area.

Everyone there was polite and welcoming, but service did remain rather slow. I'd be happy to try the Huntingtower again if we're in the Perth area. Especially as we weren't able to stay there and the accommodations sounded nice.
