Haleys Located just 2 miles from Leeds City Centre, close to the M1, yet set in a quiet leafy lane in the Headingley conservation area, Haley's Hotel is the perfect venue for a short break. Haley's is a privately owned country house hotel offering 26 tasteful and comfortable bedrooms and public areas providing our guests with a friendly country house atmosphere whilst offering modern facilities to make your stay even more enjoyable.
Services
Haley's was converted to a 20 bedroom hotel approximately 30 years ago, prior to that it had been two Gentlemen's residences. It is of architectural merit both inside and out. We have recently invested in upgrading the bedroom and public areas, which include a comfortable bar furnished with Queen Anne chairs and Yorkshire Cricket Club memorabilia.
When booking a room at the Haley's Hotel, these are the terms and conditions that apply. You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions when you make a reservation. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them each time you make a reservation.
Haleys is in a beautiful Victorian building in a quiet, tree-lined street, near the main student residential quarter of Hyde Park, so perfect for visiting parents and grandparents. My room, recently decorated, was spacious, comfortable and well appointed, though the hot water system is ancient and wasteful (dripping taps and very slow hot water access).

Very nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the room was clean and tidy if a little tired looking. Perfect location for headingley and surrounding areas.

This hotel is a really lovely place to stay. Every effort is made however few guests stay in these pandemic times. Three best things among many - the very friendly welcome I got in the large entrance lobby. The history which has been carefully documented and displayed. The cleanliness and warmth. Don't hesitate to make a booking ( FYI am from SE England, not visited Headingley for nearly 50 years)

Very nice, clean and professional. Nice service wouldn't think its a city hotel. Looks like it should be situated in the Dales.

My sister found Hayley's on booking.com. this was an alternative to the big soulless city centre hotels and Just 10 mins to the lovely town, Headingly! The staff were friendly and kind and made us feel welcome. We had a beautiful suite, which was a pleasant surprise. The accommodations was spotless (I'm a clean freak) and it really felt like home.

We only stayed one night, but we will be back. A good range of breakfast on options offer - thanks for the lovely young lady who checked us in who was there first thing in the morning clearing plates and dealing with all enquiries and the chef! Thank you!

Stayed here one night over bank holiday weekend. Superb hotel regards facilities, cleanliness and location. The staff are so helpful and on this occasion a night porter called Richard he couldn't do enough for us. We also had a lovely cooked breakfast where we found Richard is the hotel chef he even cooked lovely fresh eggs for us. We will be back.

Managed to get a room here this weekend and will absolutely be back! Charming hotel, other reviews have stated dated and needs refurbishment but I disagree. The country house feel, decor, ambience all add to this hotel's very welcome charm and history. Clean, big rooms, quiet ( slept all night) and a delicious breakfast, free WiFi, parking and friendly staff.

Very reasonable price on a busy packed out Leeds when all other venues were far too expensive for what they offered! Will definitely be back here, recommend 100%.Only 10 minutes drive into Leeds city centre with traffic or 40 minute walk.

Ok place. Clean and comfortable. Evening meals limited due to staff shortage. Breakfast Ok. Found out they did alternative eggs to the standard scrambled but you have to ask specially. Milk had gone off in our room, but they apologized and gave us a jug of fresh milk for our tea and coffee.

We came here for Sunday lunch today, on account of there's a bright blue sandwich board outside HSBC on Otley Road advertising 'HELP YOURSELF CARVERY FOR 7.95'. You'd think they'd expect a few extra people, with that there, on a main road, in a busy student area, no? I was a bit narked, if I'm honest, with the snooty 'so you haven't booked then?' that we got when we the two of us tipped up at 1pm. Having said that, we had a drink in the bar and got a table after twenty or thirty minutes, but there was another dig about some other people who were 'like you, they haven't booked either'. Soz, dude. Anyway, the food was lush.

I had beef and pork (bit disappointed that crackling wasn't on offer), parsnips, broccoli, carrot and swede mash, roast and boiled potatoes, carrots and green beans AND a yorkshire pudding. For under 8. You can't go wrong, can you? Nope. Unless you take offence at snobby patrons looking you up and down in your jeans and commenting on the 'trash' sitting near them. Nice. Next time I'll book, dress up a bit and talk lah-di-dah. Cos I will go back, as it was lush.
