In the fine country town of Grantown on Spey, not far from the famous Spey River, lies the handsome stone built Grant Arms Hotel, which has been continually upgraded to offer modern comforts whilst retaining a traditional character. The hotel has been welcoming guests for many a year. In fact, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert stayed here in 1860. The Grant Arms is a 56 en-suite bedroom family run coaching hotel.

Didn't have the pleasure of staying as a guest, but the friendly staff did let us take shelter in the bar (which was closed ahead of a function in a few hours time) with our shivering greyhound when we got caught in a storm and our car was being repaired down the road. Also offered us warm drinks on the house. Very considerate staff.

Excellent hotel with staff that could not do enough to help. Dog friendly as well. Lovely location for walking locally and ideal for visiting the surrounding area. Everyday the menu in the restaurant was changed. The food was always presented wonderfully and of high quality. The staff always made time for us and our dog. Would recommend.
