Went to a wedding. The venue itself is very pleasant. Then you get to the bar. Very limited choice on the draught beer and what they did have was warm. The prices were expensive like most places but better than some hotels I've been before. I soon took everyone's mind off the warm beer when I busted out some of my dance moves.

Grains Bar Hotel is just breath taking. The views are outstanding. The food is amazing, the staff are so polite and friendly. The rooms are spotless and the bed is the comfiest I have ever slept on in a hotel. I would recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Every time we come to Oldham we stay here.

Booked another hotel but was so disappointed that we booked out immediately and came across this lovely hotel. What a spot of good luck from the very first foot in the door we were met with a warm welcome from the staff. Very nice room, clean and tidy with on suite facility. We had a evening meal here and was one of the best I have had for some time, also had breakfast two mornings and both were of a very high standard. There is a bar which was stocked with a good selection of wine, beers. Would stay again without hesitation.

Just got back from my wedding at Grains Bar Hotel! 100% would recommend. Everything ran perfectly and Lisa and Louise were instrumental to that! The ceremony room and the function room were beautiful and all of the staff were constantly on hand to help (including helping me pin my dress up so I could walk later on!) fab food on the day and the morning after. The best start to married life. Thank you for everything!

Arrived for a family wedding. The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous!
For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely.

This hotel was the best. It was great to stay.i definitely would go again with pleasure. The staff was very helpful. Specially Sophy in the bar great girl and very helpful.she gave us plates for our food we ordered from a takeaway without asking and empty glasses to have a drink in our room. I stayed only one night on room 7 bridle sweet was called was fantastic. 26.3.2022. Me and Bernadette friend from Ashton we had a fantastic date night fun! .

Stayed here this weekend for my brothers wedding. The ceremony and reception room were dressed beautifully. Every member of staff we talked to was helpful and friendly and it's obvious they genuinely want their guests to have a great experience at Grains bar. Bedroom was spotless, views were spectacular and wedding meal and breakfast were faultless.

We have just stayed for one night for a 60th birthday Party and felt very welcomed from the minute we walked in. The bedroom was beautiful with a gorgeous view and was spotlessly clean. Overall a fantastic, relaxed stay and a special thank you to Sophie who really looked after us all and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stop again

Lovely wedding venue which gave us a very good day. Helpful staff and the food was super. Would have been 5 stars if the bedrooms had be warm. It was very poor weather and the bedrooms were freezing and this was not rectified when it was brought to the attention of the staff. Such a shame because otherwise this was an amazing location.

The rooms were nice but the way the heating is set up is annoying. We didn't opt for the Cooked breakfast, as it was nothing special, just basic bacon and eggs. Continental breakfast was nothing to rave about either. Just cereal and 2 slices of toast. They had no juice as they had apparently run out, only coffee and tea. Beautiful views and friendly staff though. Not entirely worth the price.

Perfect Wedding Venue, thank you so much to Lisa, Louise and all the staff at Grains Bar to help us to celebrate my Brother and Sister in Law's Wedding, Andy and Sue Jones on Saturday. We had the best day ever, nothing was too much trouble and the day could not have been better. The weather was glorious and thank you for helping Mum cope with the heat.
