East Didsbury Train Station is located 2-minute walk from the hotel with trains for Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, 15 minutes either way. Stockport train station with the Virgin trains networks and local network is located just 3 miles from the hotel. Regular buses run from Manchester Picadilly Gardens to Didsbury the closest stop is Wilmslow road, Towers Business Park stop, just outside the hotel.
When not hired privately the Blue lounge provides a second lounge for hotel residents to relax and unwind. This room is versatile and licensed to hold Wedding ceremonies and can be used for private dining or business meetings and presentations. The Blue Lounge and Board Room can be adjoined via two sets of double doors that open flat against the wall creating a larger open space. The Boardroom offers period features including a high ceiling with period cornice and ceiling rose, a large bay window and the original fireplace.
Found on the lower ground floor of the hotel; 3/4 underground, the informal breakfast room is open from 7:00 am - 10:30 am weekdays and 8:00 am - 11:00 am at weekends and bank holidays. Here you'll be able to indulge in everything from light continental bites to traditional full English & Irish cooked to order breakfasts.
Our downstairs work & social space leads directly out to the walled terrace through double doors; with wooden panel furnishing and a 65 TV screen fitted to the wall. Cable sockets are available to connect the TV to your laptop for meetings, with the option of using Sky during coffee breaks or Sky sports channels available for sports days.

I stayed here for a night last Friday courtesy of a delayed Birthday and Mothers Day gift from my son and his girlfriend. I had the loveliest nights stay in lovely accommodation, breakfast was fab. Shamac was so lovely I hope I got your name right and Lucas when I paid for the night and it had been already paid for. This only down side as a week later still looks as though its coming out of my account but will definitely come back.

Have stayed here before, very comfortable rooms and generally lovely staff. Latest visit slightly spoiled by being hurried at breakfast by surly waitress and shortage of breakfast items, not ideal when you are staying more than one night and you've nothing to be rushed for. Shame as otherwise 5 stars all round and they did adjust for breakfast charge at check out

We hosted our wedding at Didsbury House and were delighted with the whole experience. From day one, Jenny and her team were absolutely outstanding - professional, prompt, helpful and courteous. The preparation that went into our day was fantastic thorough, and the team who delivered our event were excellent. Our guests felt welcomed, and looked after; nothing was too much for the staff.
The rooms are beautiful, the food was delicious and we've had so many people comment about what a fantastic venue and hotel it is. We'd love to be able to do it all over again!

Can't really fault this place. Although room not ready, it was a good excuse to go grab a bite to eat in their patio bar. By the time we'd finished, room was ready. For a 'cosy' room, it felt far from small. Tidy, nice crisp fresh linens, felt covid safe and nice little extras like a Nespresso machine, fresh milk (in the fridge), radio. Fabulous powerful rain shower and bath if needed. A great stay if you fancy somewhere outside the city centre yet close enough to walk to public transport.to get you around.

We had our wedding here and it was an absolutely unbelievable day! The team thought of everything (even how to handle typical Manchester wedding for a socially distanced garden wedding!) and helped the day go smoothly. They were flexible with us on details, and really worked with us to make the day what we wanted. All of our guests gushed over the venue, particularly those who stayed the night. Our day was wonderful - I wouldn't change a thing, and I'd recommend Didsbury House and Number 11 to anyone.
