Rooms were good, owner was pleasent enough and restaurant served more than generous portions price at 15 for one course. The waiter/barman was very friendly and chatty - quite the character! We booked thru hotels.com which said breakfast included but on arrival the owner said no, breakfast was not included in the price.

Second time staying here. First stay was better I think. kettle in bedroom long overdue for a change. Room was nice with view of the pier. I did not enjoy Christmas dinner but in general breakfast and other dinner was fine. The only main issue I had was the utensils and dishes weren't cleaned thoroughly.

Possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Booked two rooms with breakfast costing 160. I would have been disappointed at half that price. Rooms dirty and messy, might have been OK 20yrs ago. We picked the place because it was advertised with a bar, only to find a private function on in bar. We were moved into the conservatory and it was cold.
We then checked the time of breakfast ( asking the staff if it was bank holiday hrs) we were told normal hrs for breakfast. We went for breakfast only to be told we weren't on the list! When we complained the staff were rude and unhelpful. Don't waste your money with this dirty run down, badly managed scruffy hotel.

Both my wife and I spent 6 nights at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and very tasty. The room was clean and the view was fantastic. On the downside at our age we found the stairs a little uncomfortable but this did not spoil our stay. Alround we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is situated close to many amenities.

Great hotel with beautiful rooms with amazing views, , amazing food. from the morning staff till the evening staff, without them this would be just a another normal hotel, fantastic people who greet you with a smile, go out of their way to make you feel at home, wonderful sense of humour, would highly recommend and definitely return

Rooms a little dated but nice bathroom with great shower. Myself and a colleague have eaten here two of the three nights stay and I can say the food has been of a very good standard. Highly recommend trying the food. All staff have been polite and helpful which has added to an overall good experience with a great view to top it off.

This B&B establishment is beautifully located -- great vistas toward the pier, straits, and ocean. As far as the amenties and service - it has been quite insufferable for me. There was absolutely no working wi fi connection that worked properly anywhere in the hotel. The ownership repeated, mantra-style, 'tomorrow we are going to switch company and get a proper router.' But there was no improvement in the wi fi in the 4 days I stayed there.
The download speed was 0.0039 mbps and the upload speed was 0.0002 - way below minimum standards. Additionally, the T-Mobile signal was weak in the hotel's environs, so the I phone couldn't be used as a backup. For the first night I was offered a room just above the dining room, facing the street. When I mentioned that originally I asked for a quiet room, and that there was zero internet signal, I was moved to a back room with the promise of the best wi fi connection.
While a weak wi fi signal appeared on my screen, the whole night I had to listen to the loud coughs of the hotel's fridge. So for my second night there I was moved to an upstairs room, facing the street, but on an upper floor, therefore with less traffic noise. No internet signal, but quietude. Nevertheless, for the third night the management moved me back to the original room they planned for me, because, according to them, the quie, no-net room was already reserved.
So back to the room above the dining hall I went. This time, because I stayed for a longer duration than the 5 minutes I stayed in it when I arrived, but overnight, I had the honor not only to listen to the dining hall noise, but to smell the kitchen's fumes through the bathroom window. While the hotel was very kind in moving the luggage I re-packed every morning from one room to another, I forgot to pack a scarf, which by now is gone.
When I politely discussed my discomfort of having to move every morning to another room, I was told that I was 'yelling' - I guess this is a polite form of intimidating a customer to make them feel inadequate. In short - Bangor's is great! a spectacular little coastal town with a great cathedral, majestic bridges, and good affordable food, I would not recommend the Eryl Mor Hotel.
